As most players know, the current squad vehicle research model is time-consuming and depends on good squad activity, but even so, it takes an average of months to obtain a squad vehicle. An important point is that often you are researching a squad vehicle and, while you are halfway through or very close to getting it, you end up changing your plans, either to try researching a new research tree or because you think another vehicle might be better. The point is that if you change your mind, you will have to start the progress completely from the beginning. This progress is much slower than researching a standard vehicle and is totally dependent on your squad.
The question is: do you think there should be a way to transfer your progress made on a squadron vehicle you were researching to another if you change your mind? Do you think this could improve the squadron vehicle research system? comment.
Most know how long they take to research and plan waaaaay ahead, so I think the main reason to switch research part the way through is because something new was added part the way through researching one, which for a rank VIII vehicle, is about 90 days (assuming max gains) is quite likely to happen.
So I do think the first step is to just reduce the SQV RP cost down to reasonable levels, turn it from 3 months into at most 1 month. That way, it would be possible to grind any and all SQVs added in a major before the next update and you are less likely to be in the situation where you will want to swap the research to somethign else

The delay makes a big difference. I was 50% through the progress on that F117 before I found out it was garbage in time. I think I would have regretted it a lot. :/
Ive got it, but not yet done a match in it.
I think you just have to go in with reasonable expectations.
But then what strengths it should have are pointless because of the magic guided weapons AI have
i have a lot of points in vehicles i dont care for as they were the only ones to research for a while.
id like to move it to ones i will play. im not gonna play the SU33 gaijin, let me move the points to the F-5 in the japan tree
