You don’t even need to chaff to defeat them lol. Multipathing exists and you can maneuver defeat them.

i wouldnt risk multipathing a phoenix.
Ive seen people die like that and with how easy they are to dodge, it seems too risky

Don’t worry, they have already stretched the battle rating and weakened the base’s revenue. The next step will be to release a new gift package fighter. If the F14 is too strong in monetization, they will take action to weaken it.LOL
I said they WERE (past tense) tracking through mountains and that I had not seen a fix for it, there may have been and I just missed it.

Also I have seen several post about it on the forums and they all just result in the player mentioning it being told their stupid and it doesn’t happen.
Yes, in fact I have had it happen a few times, I now stay behind cover until my RWR fully shuts off
F-14s never plagued the game.
F-14s were good at fragging new players, and that’s it.

Yet I died to so little of them they were never on my radar as a vehicle to be threatened by let alone desire to meme on others.
I was too busy memeing on others using EJ, F-4 FG1, and EJ Kai. EJ Kai being the superior aircraft to use over F-14A by far.
Only F-14B and the Art Deco camo for F-14A would peak my interest for getting the F-14A.
An F-4J that can dogfight was never something that interested me when I had EJ Kai the entire time.
The only advantage the EJK had is a better radar. It didn’t even have the agile eagle upgrade.

War Thunder stopped having dogfight meta when F-4E was introduced.
It’s been boom and zoom ever since, with BVR mixed in more often than dogfights.
The dogfight meta is so old I wasn’t around at top BRs when it was around thus only ever experienced the boom & zoom and BVR meta that’s been happening for the last 5 years.
Nah. Remember F-5E? Then the MiG-23MLD? And then when the F-14A was introduced it was both a dogfighter and a missile bus.
Also furballs were a lot more pronounced back then because of smaller maps.

F-5E? You mean the interceptor, which is the primary meta playstyle of that vehicle… cause it can cut off many aircraft that head toward it.
Mig-23MLD was boom and zoom as well.
F-5E only does well cause people try to dogfight in the boom & zoom meta.
