The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

First person mode - the same outcome.

Do you work for Gaijin have Russian bots made it to the forums?

Yes CAS has always been strong I mentioned this 200+ posts up.
But each nation had a chance, be it a helicopter or jet. Some Nations had better missiles Kh-29 and AGM-65 vs dumb bombs on a Phantom or the odd Laser guided bomb.

Gaijin smashed the unspoken agreement with the Kh-38…No Kh-38 mt no need for the sams we have now. Then came ASSM, SPICE, BRIMSTONE CAS was elevated over SAMs.

So we have gimped systems IRIS-T, NASAAMs, Skysabre and SAMP-T.
While Pantsir SV is added with no drawbacks and as you have seen ingame and in multiple videos is breaking the balance of the game.

We have this post, we have a BMP-T post, we have an Mi-28 LMUR post. Whats the connection…

Put them in the spawns and indestructible objects that will only shoot drones and munitions.

The new Pantsir is necessary for game balance . . . I’ve mentioned this here before, but for doctrinal reasons (which can already be seen in the game), the Russians are unable to overwhelm a NATO air defence system, whereas NATO can overwhelm a Russian air defence system, such as the Pantsir and the Buk, simply due to the sheer volume of weaponry used against the air defence system. What’s more, the new Pantsir was introduced in an update where NATO was reinforced with even more and better weaponry. The problem now is that ordinary CAS players want to climb up, look down, fire missiles with the world’s greatest calmly, and then turn back . . .

Balance implies both sides have equal likelihood of success.

A singular Pantsir SV would maybe be balanced.
3 of them with a BUK and the “free Pantsir”
Is not. And it has nothing to do with “doctrine”

It is pure biased, or do you and Gaijin think a Pantsir SV has the interception rate it has in game?

I will add if we are going doctrinally. if Gaijin should add MALD for NATO aircraft.

A balanced balance is impossible, for the simple reason that, in terms of military doctrine, there is nothing on the Western side comparable to the Pantsir, now, it is also unacceptable for the Russians to have to deal with aircraft carrying more missiles and bombs than the anti-aircraft systems can handle.

That gameplay died for any non-USSR nation after pantsir-s1 and even for USSR after new spaa.

Got to love how Gaijin said they were going to address the US SPAA gap. Add the T77 and copy-pasted the Skink (unnecessarily and un-historically), then still haven’t added anything new in the massive gap.

Like, what makes them think the Russians need an SPAA at every single 0.3 BR step when nearly every other nation in the gap has massive BR gaps? It’s just ridiculous.

Kh-38 started this, without that addition we do not get here.

I agree NATO do not have a Pantsir type they use multiple systems. Which Gaijin refuses, give us a IRIS-T SLM with a Skyranger?

SV is imbalanced because it takes it to a new level, massively reduced reaction time to any aircraft.

Britain mains dreamed off the Falcon going down aftee its nerf instead it shares the same BR as Marksman.

Any British line up below 8.7 has to use Skink or Boskvark…it’s painful

I agree that the Kh-38 kicked off this dysfunctional arms race for ground-attack weapons, but now there’s nothing for it but to deal with the consequences. Because now the Russians are getting an air-defence system that neutralises the CAS they previously couldn’t stop, tomorrow, the NATO side will get something else that will then force Gaijin to introduce a new air-defence system into the mix. It’s that never-ending war.

Tell me about it, now they’re adding the “proposed but not fitted radar” in order to justify keeping it there. Gaijin really can’t stay consistent with prototype vehicles.

  • Prototype A, D, G gets structural steel armour because it wasn’t built with armour grade steel.
  • Prototype B, C, E gets RHA/cast steel armour because even though it wasn’t built with armour grade steel it would have been if it reached production.
  • Prototype F gets structural steel standoff armour because the actual composite array wasn’t fitted but gets APFSDS that couldn’t fit in the prototype.

Which again is fine if everyone has that capability.

But they dont. NATO have their best systems IRIS-T yet they are so poorly modelled.
Pantsir SV will stop being the best SAM if Gaijin ever fix the lofting and tracking profiles.

Agree
KH38 is the largest Russia bias

Alvis keeps insisting 15km maverick launches with the F-111F is still feasible against SPAA such as the Pantsir 😅

As it stands you’ll lose the mavericks and the jet considering there’s no world in which a 111F reacts quick enough to not get vaporised by 95Ya6M

The 12.7 Pantsir sure but he’s arguing about the 12.0 Pantsir.

Did it actually died…?

To be fair, the new Pantsir is entirely Gaijins fault

They added it because according to their own data the Buk wasn’t performing well and they thought the USSR tree needed something better

The problem that led to this was the communities fault tho, as people were constantly asking for FnF ATGMs in helicopters and longer ranged A2G weapons on planes

Well, part of the community did. They happened to ignore us that were screaming for better SPAA even before they added FnF helis until it was basically already a lost race.
