Precisely, Pantsir will just treat ARMs like any other missile with zero downsides. Nations with limited ammunition will bear the brunt of HARMs. Russian teams, as usual, are the least affected.
We really need mixed battles at this point, there is no saving top tier.
Another reason that these game devs and the community are not intelligent enough to balance this kind of game. Either CAS is way to strong due to gaijin being incompetent or SPAA is broken OP like it is now because the community cries endlessly about CAS. It is all so tiresome. I miss 2020 meta.
these 2 vehicles have by themselves completely ruined 13.0 for me. Given Like large part of that is using stuff like Z10ME but it was fairly balanced before that against Pantsirs and other AA systems.
If the SM SV player is diligent there’s nothing you can do.
BMPT meanwhile is a monster at any BR, there’s no point and click, and most MBT’s get shredded, I laughed earlier in a Merkava 9.7 facing one since it actually struggled to penetrate me for first time ever. almost never experienced that.
In my opinion to start to fix both of these,
BMPT should get its turret jammed when ERA in turret is hit and assumingly it gets all shrapneled and nasty/blocked up in there I cannot imagine it turns smoothly after that or at least heavily damages the turret mechanism.
SM SV, needs its accuracy vs small missiles lowered if nothing else, so its interception rate isn’t 100% because right now it really feels like it is.
Meanwhile other AA systems struggle to hit a single drone.
They struggle because theyre weapons arent set up to hit something st 0.9km 1km away from their radar versus the vehicle that is designed too do that, so the Pantsirs hit rate being better makes sense.
And if you wanna apply nuance to a hit rate of one vehicle, youd have to do it universally for all.
You provide 0 honest points. All of your points are experimentally faulty or just a complete lie. And you expect a honest answer? Spare me a jobless title, I’m not here to argue with you. Looking at your points it’s just enough to tell that they’re complete bull and everyone who played IRIS-T or against it fully understands it.
Have you played ARB during the fox-3 meta? At 14-16 miles SLM missile has an energy of a dried up fish stick. You can double wiggle and then go into another engagement right away. Situation with it’s energy loss is so bad that every time a plane I’m engaging makes a turn exceeding 30 degrees - I’m launching a new missile at him so it would have enough energy for a chase. Munition interception situation is even worse. First yea it can intercept a kh-38 sometimes and the interception rate is better than with mi-28. Is it 100%? No. Is it at least 50%? No. Frankly you don’t even really know which missile your rockets are locked onto right now since the markings and missiles themselves are so bugged. Locking onto each other, a hyperspace and a god himself. The mi-28 interception rate is not 0% as well, but it’s lower than 5. I’d say in general out of 48 launched missiles maybe 1 will hit the target, maybe 0. There’s no pattern, there’s no being sure. A cold bomb though is the only target that it can reliably hit, lol.
Tried playing ground sim a while back, we were getting spawncamped by russian CAS, tried spawning an f15, got shot down by 2 buk players on spawn, tried spawning the adats and i immediately got killed by kh38mts before i could even get a lock because they were directly over us
Do you work for Gaijin have Russian bots made it to the forums?
Yes CAS has always been strong I mentioned this 200+ posts up.
But each nation had a chance, be it a helicopter or jet. Some Nations had better missiles Kh-29 and AGM-65 vs dumb bombs on a Phantom or the odd Laser guided bomb.
Gaijin smashed the unspoken agreement with the Kh-38…No Kh-38 mt no need for the sams we have now. Then came ASSM, SPICE, BRIMSTONE CAS was elevated over SAMs.
So we have gimped systems IRIS-T, NASAAMs, Skysabre and SAMP-T.
While Pantsir SV is added with no drawbacks and as you have seen ingame and in multiple videos is breaking the balance of the game.
We have this post, we have a BMP-T post, we have an Mi-28 LMUR post. Whats the connection…
The new Pantsir is necessary for game balance . . . I’ve mentioned this here before, but for doctrinal reasons (which can already be seen in the game), the Russians are unable to overwhelm a NATO air defence system, whereas NATO can overwhelm a Russian air defence system, such as the Pantsir and the Buk, simply due to the sheer volume of weaponry used against the air defence system. What’s more, the new Pantsir was introduced in an update where NATO was reinforced with even more and better weaponry. The problem now is that ordinary CAS players want to climb up, look down, fire missiles with the world’s greatest calmly, and then turn back . . .
A balanced balance is impossible, for the simple reason that, in terms of military doctrine, there is nothing on the Western side comparable to the Pantsir, now, it is also unacceptable for the Russians to have to deal with aircraft carrying more missiles and bombs than the anti-aircraft systems can handle.
Got to love how Gaijin said they were going to address the US SPAA gap. Add the T77 and copy-pasted the Skink (unnecessarily and un-historically), then still haven’t added anything new in the massive gap.
Like, what makes them think the Russians need an SPAA at every single 0.3 BR step when nearly every other nation in the gap has massive BR gaps? It’s just ridiculous.
