They’ve been advantaging russian vehicles on purpose for years now, it’s not today that they’re gonna change their mind. This game is kinda doomed ngl.
Bet they gonna think outside the box to, once again, give the absolute bias in infranty mode somehow.
“Oh nooo they have 7.62 and we only have 5.56” or something, I dunno know lmao."
I think what I do have a feeling though is the desparity in chemical protection with Abrams and Russian tanks is gonna be some complaint. Not sure what RPGS they’ll get access too but I do believe they did chose the T-90A on purpose since it lacks Relikt and only has Kontakt-5, which isn’t effective against tandem charges… granted the Abrams Composites aren’t ethier, even with it’s add on ERA package.
The AH-64D gun accuracy is more or less accurate to real life on full fire rate, the AH-64E should have far better accuracy as they enhanced the mount (actual provable via documents). It should also have gunshot detection in the pilot’s HUD and broadcast it to all nearby vehicles (helis) with link.
Now if we got bigger maps, the S-1 would be pushed into disadvantage since a 20km max engagment distance is abysmal (most notable on large custom maps), and the SM-SV would makes miles more sense in that envrionment.
As far as I’m aware, the S-1 used and F band radar and the new SV uses an I band radar which is much more sensitive and pickup things at a much more effecient rate, especially smaller things.
As I know the Pantsir S-1 had trouble pickiing up Brimstones, this does not.
It’s still very competitive due to the engagement range of most IR A2G missile systems being 10km or less for IR lockons depending on weather and it being 12.3 where it still faces 11.3 jets. The system reaches out to ~16km without many problems even if the jet is notching. That’s already well outside of the heli spawn locations. The tracking radar is still VERY good compared to other nations at 12.3.
The system is good enough to force most jets away from higher than the deck by itself.
If the map size is increased for top tier the pantsir won’t be left out. All that means is it’s able to play hide and seek better vs cramped maps.
It is still very dangerous in the hands of an average player due to how it functions. You still get a free one if your BUK dies. You still get a free TOR if your pantsir dies. You still get a free daily respawn of it.
LMAO I wasn’t planning to drop this nuke so I ran to edge of map (see mini map in video) long story short this SPAA got me in literal seconds and people saying it’s not broken and needs a nerf is BEYOND ME. I am not big on nukes after getting so many its really not worth it over getting more kills but man they all spawned that broken SPAA and the missile traveled to the edge THAT FAST.
The 95Ya6M is quick, but it needs to lock on you first and if you are low enough hugging trees as far as my experience goes it simply cannot lock, if it can’t lock it cannot hit.
Yes, as far as I know the radar doesn’t fail to pick up the signature of ammunitions even from rival’s SPAAs. I do however fail to shoot down some if they launches 8 at a time, because I could shoot 8 missiles at each one within 5 seconds but some actually fails to detonate them and when swithing locked target it sometimes switch to my own teammates drones or jet then too late to switch back to enemy’s. AGM is way too easy to shoot down though they are like so slow lol
What lead to the nerfs to the seeker was looking at various primary sources, and proceeding to selectively implement features(skipping over illuminator’s HPBW) that would tamp down on issues with the seeker and transferring a track. and then coming in over the top with Gaming conventions to allow them to continue to ignore subsequent reports on the issue because the mechanic is not found elsewhere.
Also Sparrows have never really been strong due to the G limits being low enough to permit them to be dodged procedurally by maneuver(similar to the AIM-9M); by aggressively counter-rolling defeating them kinematically without needing to adjust the aircraft’s heading so an aggressor can continue to support an R-23, -24 or R-27 freely.
It doesn’t help either that the AIM-7F still doesn’t have a fully dynamic autopilot, but procedurally increases the Available maximum commanded G’s based on predicted remaining Time To Go and that this hard limit is specifically crafted hard limit allows for this to occur with the full 25G’s only available to the autopilot in last two seconds of flight.
Sure there was a time where there was no direct counterpart (the addtion of R-27Ex was a massive overreaction and effectively ruined top tier at the time, by ushering in the IR meta) but the guidance of the missile left significant weaknesses that were exploitable if you knew what to do.
