The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

It’s a skill issue . . . people can’t play CAS . . .The anti-air is good, as is the Pantsir, but the Pantsir has always been easy to take out. The problem is that almost no one wants to take the time to learn how to play CAS.

The ai in general also seem to love prioritizing the player over the fired munitions and tend to be slow to react for whatever reason.

Well, its engagmemt range versus what everyone else has is considerably laughable in that envrionment, since as you said, everyones running jammers, electronic warfare etc. its only purpose is protecting the SAMS in its current iteration

In the video I posted above, he quite literally mentioned tactics in DCS that WarThunder players had to devolop braincells to figure out.

And thats spamming dumb rockets that introduces radar clutter, or having multiple aircraft attempt to engage targets at once that can overwhelm the system.

Apparently to the average WarThunder player CAS is a 1 man job.

Theres times in ground CAS wipes the floor because theres always more then 1 aircraft up, especially if theyre coming from opposing directions

The AI has a fixed OODA loop of like 8 seconds. It sucks but hey what can you do.

Yeah… a human operator would be more effective at that rate lmao

Even on your own, it’s easy to take out a Pantsir, in War Thunder, it’s easy to take out any anti-aircraft unit on your own, because it’s on its own and always on the defensive. But War Thunder players just want missiles that are really fast against ground targets; as for understanding how things actually work, nobody’s interested.

WarThunder audience is too casual yet they want almost or near-too identicallity in weapon preformance and controls and somehow expect to not have too put in at least the bare minimum compared to the amount of effort a DCS pilot has to put in to learning.

You mean those kinds of missiles that only 2 tech trees have access to? One of which has the by far broadest lineup of viable top tier SPAA?

International forum my man, most Russians aren’t here. The RU forum is filled with hardcore Russian believers. Russians suffering from Kvass patriotism. ‘Квасной патриотизм’ as it is said in Russian.

And you’re trying to equate players being biased to devs. Devs are supposed to be neutral, not nerf vehicles because they feel like it, then reject every bug report because the documentation clash with their belief.

‘nothing but video evidence’. lol.
Anyway, talking about current conflicts is actively punished on this forum. You’ll get banned by mods if you do that.

Nobody is…?

And this doesnt pertain strictly to current, but past. Because I notice a lot of people love to only refrence videos as a source of a vehicles performance

The Ru forum is half-full of Russia haters. And what kind of kvass patriotism is this? This is the first I’ve heard of it

The RU forum is a mixed bag. It has some haters but also its fair share of Ura patriots. There’s not much in between when I check it.

Квасной патриотизм is blind fanaticism toward anything that is Russian. It’s not a super common expression, but you’ll see it in newspapers, books, etc. Most Russians understand that expression.

Yeah? Do only KH-38s take out anti-aircraft systems??

Yes, many people use video footage, and many don’t understand how physics works; others do understand it but choose to ignore the physics in order to justify their views in the game , people forget that War Thunder is a game focused on realism

But Puma 30x173 KE-TF/ABM getting its historical 162 fragments was too much to ask for apparently.

They are the only AGMs capable of mach1+, have no release speed limit and the highest explosive mass. So according to your “wAr tHuNdEr PlAyErS jUsT wAnT mIsSiLeS tHaT aRe ReAlLy FaSt AgAiNsT gRoUnD tArGeTs” only one missile actually fits the criterium of being stupid easy to use. And its coincidentally the main missile used by the tech tree with the by far best SPAA coverage against subsonic AGMs.
The problem is not that russia has a stupid amount of SPAA coverage, the problem is that they get a stupid amount of SPAA coverage combined with the most braindead, fictional CAS strength in the game.

Yeah, and? That’s the problem people want things that are easy to use, ignoring the fact that these days the issue isn’t even the KH-38 anymore, but other weapons that, funnily enough, don’t even have rockets. I’ll say it again: people don’t know how to play; they want things that are easy to use and keep complaining about the state of the game while ignoring everything else.

Bruh, you don’t even have 1 of KD in your tanks. Quite a few of them in fact are closer to 0.5K/D.

Bold of you to call other players bad. Not sure this is the hill you want to defend.

are we talking about planes and CAS, or tanks? And first of all, do you really think I care about the KD in warthunder
