The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

I’ve seen enough. Nerf the EldE

A Interesting things

The additional Ahaid prefabricated fragmentation part of 95ya6m directly provided 3500 fragments. The fragmentation range was 200 meters, each fragment had a penetration depth of 25, a damage of 20, and the damage of each projectile was 70,000. The fragmentation quantity coefficient was directly set to 1

What level is the 20-point kinetic damage? According to the kinetic-to-harm conversion table in the game 20 points of damage correspond to 45kj of kinetic energy, which is already at the level of a 20mm cannon. Assuming that all the pre-made fragments fully inherit the missile’s speed of 1700mps, the mass of a single fragment would be approximately 30 grams. 30 grams, 3500 pieces, this is already very problematic

Compare with the normal high-explosive fragmentation warhead: The theoretical number of fragments is 2560, the theoretical penetration depth is 8mm, the damage is 14.2, and the radius is 45.9m. Since the total quantity coefficient of the general fragmentation template for anti-aircraft missiles is only 0.505, even if we use the parameters of the maximum energy sector on the side (1.5 times the radius, 1.5 times the damage) to estimate the total damage of all fragments, it is only 27,600 points of damage, with a radius of 69m and a penetration depth of 12mm.
In terms of the amount of fragment damage projected, a single shot from 95ya6m is much stronger than two shots from the old ammunition. Even the BUK M3 (with a total fragment damage of 56,812) is no match for it.

Some questions, if I wanted to get rid of the radar signature of rival’s SPAA’s missile, do I just check the SMALL and if I do that, do I also filtered out some smaller ammunition types that I could intercept from enemy CAS?

Wasn’t SPYDER buffed in the last major patch ?

Still weak

IIRC I saw it hold M1.0 at like 25-30km away in some devserver thread, so we will see how good it really is in a month or so.

If you check small it will only show small, and won’t filter aa missiles or rockets, only small bombs i think. also it doesn’t really ‘filter’ them it only hides them, you can still lock on them, which is very stupid imo. especially while using tws or the track radar like a pantsir, you are still able to lock onto friendlies even when its set to only show enemies.

Anyway I recommend to only hide your own friendlies, leave the rest on

I can dogfight nicely in Su-27SM which doesn’t have TVC, i won half the duels i fought with somebody using the Rafale in my Su-30SM2
If Russia doesn’t have something, it’s braindead players.

and idea to counterrest Pantsir SM-SV would be, at least for Germany and France (maybe Sweden), to add HFK/KV for FlaRakRad and ItO.

The things that are needed are buffed SHORADs/mobile CIWS vehicles and a nerf for all helis

Better SACLOS missiles won’t solve the actual problem

my man do you understand the HFK/KV its a fla rak rad thing only, and it had to overcome massive improvements such as FCS and radar to have a proper working missile for it, its not as easy to add it to the ITO

so the new Pantsir is not an actual problem tho it uses better SACLOS missiles.
i’m pretty sure that, for the current enviroment toptier has rn, it would help a lot to have more than 1 nation with a hypersonic missile, after all CAS is what ruins GRB cuz it’s so good.

can the ItO carry Roland RM5?

You must be ragebaiting, this can’t be serious. “How can u prove the one ingame is not a later variant” It is legit the first produced T-90M variant (proryv-3), the later ones have other names.

“Dawg somebody’s a little too angry cuz i want something he doesn’t want.” Dude it doesn’t exist on it, whats so hard to understand

I think these giant turret baskets shouldn’t have been added in the first place, they ruin the top tier experience, one penetrating shot, boom youre knocked out. But the thing is, when it is added to every western nation except 2, then russia should get it as well. Most of the parts that are modeled have nothing to do with the actual turret rotation system

Every western tank except the leo 2a7 are glass cannons

“Tell me what points i’m mistaken, since u’re so smart.” You didn’t read this huh

The problem with the Pantsir is it’s ability to shoot down hundreds of incoming missiles and bombs while also working as a medium range SAM

The Pantsir needs LOS to deal with helis, just like other SACLOS SAMs

The things that are needed to counter helis is a (L)DIRCM nerf, proper radar and heat signatures for helis and blufor systems that can properly intercept munitions, not some SACLOS missiles that might be able to catch a heli

still wasnt mounted on the ITO and gaijin’s logic on “a platform can use it hence every other platform should use it too” its just a thing for lazy copy and paste and balance

Best we could hope for is the 4-tube variant of Roland with HFK, we would still be bottlenecked by the radar lock range. HFK has as much range as the new Pantsir missile, but it is held back by Roland’s radar set.

4 tubes, surely this will save the blufor nations
