well I wouldnt compare both missile and vehicle, a pantsir requires some skill and knowledge to use. Although it seems like a one man army it can still be overwhelmed and destroyed, most pantsirs dont die cuz they ran out of missiles they die cuz they cant deal with everything at once.

Best chance is probably large caliber rockets using CCIP, from a pop up attack. a Pity NATO doesn’t get access to any HE warheads.
That CAS shouldn’t counter SPAA
The new Pantsir is problematic, but this doesn’t change that CAS is way too powerful and the new Pantsir is the result of CAS constantly getting better weapons

The counter to CAS isn’t stronger SPAA, because that means planes will get stronger munitions as a result. The counter is worse munitions. Don’t encourage power creep.

They are. I get a free stock ADATS in top tier and I regularly take down more than one plane. Again just point and click.

Again, no one disagrees with that, its when it comes to a single nation that was already strong in the AA department. One that had the best heli and CAS combo. One that has 2 BMPT’s and one that ruled SPAA for 2 years.
It just creates an imbalance where nations paired with that team have an easier time compared to others

SPAA should counter CAS, not the other way around
Tanks should be the ones destroying SPAA to let their planes do CAS, CAS shouldn’t just be allowed to spam missiles without any threat whatsoever
yeah but i bet youre not someone who faces actally competent players like I do in squadron battles, youd be suprised how a well coordinated team can play their vehicles, no matter if its an SPAA or jet.
They are Barak-1 missiles, we don’t have them in the game yet and I am not sure how good they are
Their pathetic excuse for MMW is hilarious.
They claimed that MMW can basically ignore the smoke which is pointless because you will not see any incoming ordinance from CAS 95% time.
People also raised their voice and said that Gaijin could add smoke types that can actually counter MMW targeting system but they just straight up refused it.
Meanwhile Russia gets one of the best SPAA that can intercept anything while having completely fictional missile (looking at you MT).

the only reason its just sad is that now more nations have fire and forget weapons on planes/helis and russia is again the only nation getting a powerfull spaa to counter LDIRCM helis AND fired ammunitions
they could have added more spaa´s like this to multiple nations so everyone has a counter
but this makes it feel like they added it because others have toys that russia had for a long time and couldnt really be countered unless you wasted half or if not all of your missiles on the ammunitions
now that they get it aswell they added the pantsir SM to be countered again

The best we can hope for is heli nerfs and CIWS vehicles for other nations, but as it stands the CAS players will just continue crying about SAMs being “too powerful” and we’ll just end up with CAS getting ARMs and no new anti air vehicles capable of actually defending against CAS
