Type 03’s issue is it can’t hit anything close range as it soars straight up in the sky as soon as it launches. And it can’t even hit targets from long range. Plus Buk can launch missiles even if the main radar vehicle gets destroyed.
Me personally, I disagree with Gaijin thinking Buk was the worst top tier SPAA, type 03 is worse than the buk.
And if they add SPAA like the new Pantsir, they should have thought about other nations’ capability of offering similar competition. Its not like they’re gonna add C-RAM for America. Essentially it looks like Russia gets an OK Buk for CAS, the best Pantsir for the best iron dome, the best CAS missile, and the best radar for their CAS. I just think that Gaijin should turn their attention to nations that are lacking in top tier and then we can move on to cool new things.
I agree, I don’t hate the new Pantsir as if I get on Russia’s team I benefit. But it still feels wrong…

Gaijin did not account the missile’s booster drag, resulting it having insane acceleration. Because the total drag is only the sub caliber warhead, but with the thrust of that big rocket booster
The biggest issue I have with the fictions of bias is that it distracts from genuine issues.
Gaijin found a cool SPAA and added it.
That’s not bias, that’s just “Oooo shiny.”
Focusing on this when could instead be focusing on compression at 2.7 ground, 9.3 air, etc exists.
When LDRICM is still over-performing.
When American Abrams are still a lower BR than their competitors in other tech trees.
When we lack external fuel tanks on necessary aircraft.
When the regen steering test and implementation still hasn’t happened.
2A7V still having worse hull armor than Strv 122.
And a whole host of other real issues, rather than made up favoritism.

Israel doesn’t have good CAS, so this doesn’t impact them.
USA has good CAS so this impacts a bit, but spawning less CAS will result in better spawn point use.
Germany has bad CAS so this doesn’t impact them.

Time to Grind the Russian again for the new SAM. Enjoyed the Pantsir and Buk a lot.
As I alluded to at the start with his “takes” being well known, he might just have the highest ratio rate per post of anyone on the forums.
Don’t get me wrong, Alvis does have good takes the majority of the time, but imo when he has any “bad” ones, they tend to be quite bad… exceptionally bad at times which is what makes him well known for having “bad takes”. I believe this is one of those times lol
Anyway, going forward: I urge everyone who disagrees, and anyone those who disagrees with the people disagreeing, to please have good faith debates.
