The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

TLDR: All of the long-range cas and spaa elements are breaking the game because gaijin added them without making the maps and other aspects of the game ready for them.

I just want go give my two cents on this topic. First of all i like mixed gameplay with air and ground units. I like playing with cas and i like playing against it (I know what a controversial idea to have) and unlike some of the messages i dont think every addition should be welcomed, whether its cas or spaa.

I think the “imbalance” of the current spaa is caused by two factors, First; The maps we have are not designed with them in mind and simply growing them with mundane empty space and whatnot won’t work. And the second reason is that because gaijin went hard with their long range air-to-ground ordinances before the introcudtion of multi vehicle spaa’s, they immediately added them as a long-range counter but now they have the whole map in their coverage and that causes ridiculous things to happen, the latest addition sv-vm does not help the situation, as its an all-in-one destroyer of world kinda vehicle.

And these days especially in the environement that is the bmpt spam meta, having two or more of these pantsirs turn the whole map into a “no-no square” for anything thats flying, which is from what i’ve experienced disables your main way of getting out of a bmpt roflstomp or anykind of one sided roflstomp.

Aside from all of that though, from the start gaijin should not have added the longer range cas missles (kh38, brickstone, hammers etc.) and the long range spaa since like said before, the maps/enviorement wasnt ready for that shit. The only spaa that they’ve added that made sense with how the current map pool is was the cs/sa5

Agree with all of this except for faulting brimstone. It’s a worse hellfire.

Additionally multi-vehicle SPAAs “had to be” made somewhat useless because of the tiny maps meaning that if they were accurate they would make a no-fly zone

Now I see why we finally got so many fnf bombs, because precious Russia is the only one who can now counter them.

If it wasn’t Russian no one would say anything, for so long everyone is being complaining for how strong CAS is, i am a russian main and i didn’t think Russia needed another SPAA even if the BUK wasn’t good like Sky Sabre and Mamba and other TT with biggest gaps needed more SPAAs BUT now we got it and you act like lunatic like its going to destroy CAS that’s the worst thing for me and many players that hate CAS i hope other counties get AA systems with the same capabilities so no one no more will complain about the KH38, and also just model the spikes correct and when you hit the Russian autoloader with a maverick or spike or anything else make the tank explode

Wait, interception nuke?

cant even kill the mi with my naasams lmao, i can lock on them and as soon as they hear it they dip down

Yes, it’s different with Russia because they ALREADY have OP toptier SPAA. There’s plenty of nations that still lack a functional SPAA, yet Gajin decided Russia needs two, when the first Pantsir was already plenty.

Rolands are actually goated for that. IRST tracking isn’t effected by IRCM, and doesn’t warn em of a launch.

Yea, they don’t really need that, since that’s their POV

as i said too

not in front of sky sabre and mamba, the only think pantsir is better is against munitions and helis

Oh and the carousel eats spall, doesn’t block horizontal and so on and on. Russian mains pretending they’re hard done by in the more and more obvious bias simulator is incredibly rich.

No need ot attack another forum user who you may disagree with.

This argument is as old as time, there are models in the files from over 10+ years ago which will never be released, if gaijin don’t deem it to be, then it’s not to be.

Alvis again is correct, vehicles are released when they are ready to be released.
The A4M has / had no intention of being properly released hence why it isn’t here yet.
If they do release it then it may be over the next few years.

There are an absolutely plethora of vehicles in the games files which do not exist in game and likely never will.

I have used it and also seen it used quite a lot, it’s a decenly strong 11.7 SPAA.

better question Alvis is why didn’t they get mad when the IRIS-T was added, and within the first month had near double the KD of the Pantsir at it’s absolute peak.

Because people are obsessed with Russian bias, oppose to looking at the massive imbalance across multiple nations which needs adressed.

So far at top tier , the only SPAA which has shot me down is the Thai 12.7 and the IRIS T the new Pantsir couldn’t hit my JH7A.

They really should encourage intercepting more, in some scenario you’ll never see the attacking aircraft(kh-38ML)

Carousel on my ZTZ96 eats spall as well, all auto loaders do , you can also take out a T series auto loader shooting clean through the top of the turret.

Russian mains aren’t acting hard done by they’re just fed up getting the finger pointed at them when there’s absolutely loads of issues within the game.
Barely anyone blinked an eye when IRIS T took over, or when the STRV 122s where slamming top tier into the ground.

Barely anyone complained about gripen, in comparison to the Su30 etc etc.

Every cas players were complaining about IRIS T but everyone adapted, they always do. You don’t adapt from being actively fucked by the game just because

I agree, maps are definitely the number one issue plaguing this game. The technology and advanced weaponry we have in the game does not work in the context of the game. Maps are too small, game modes are way too arcade-arena-like. I knew from day 1 that these new SPAAs would be rendered useless due to poor maps and spawn placement. I was hoping Gaijin would at least try to introduce new spawn locations for SAMs so that they weren’t relegated to frontline combat. Trust me, these new SPAAs would perform a lot better if they didn’t have to worry about tanks HE’ing them from the other side of the map.

You must have missed the irist and gripen topics then.

I remember reading those topics saying irist could kill you perfectly when landed in the airfield, or gripen recieving a lot of spice 250 when f15i didnt have any, and so deleating half or more of the enemy team.

And then they both got nerfed so hard in such short time no one talked about them ever again.

Strv 122 not even a big issue, you kill it like a normal leopard.

And now tell me, how much time the posts of kh38, bmpt, ldircm, other nations not having a proper spaa, etc, have been going around and not fix in a short time or ever??

Haha Alvis has a backup account

And even with this we’re supposed to be believe the Pantsir SM-SV was needed…

Youre giving the answer yourself. Its an IRIS T sprinkeld into Germany, an Strv for Sweden there, a Rafale for France here and an AH64E for the US for good measure but its not KH38MT for russia → SU30 for russia → MI28NM for russia → SU30SM2 for russia → BMPT for russia → Pantsir SM SV for russia
