While the whole fm package is really good its bein artificially limited by its weaponry.
If Spıce only had better release speed you could’ve utilize Typhoon’s true performance.
With current limitations Typhoon’s fm barely shines in GRB.
Never had issues with the buk, as long as I didn’t try multipathing straight towards it while at long range
I got killed couple times on last weeks.
Those huge warheads can sometimes cause issues if they come close enough during multipathing.

Another weakness of the buk is that it’s very easy to James strat
Radar elevation is somewhat dookie so you can just get close, fly above and bully it

I know, i discovered this when i was using BUK, ever since then i use the same tactic.
That is an issue of the SPICE though and not the EF itself.
Every spiceplane suffers from it and i agree they should increase or remove the limit on it.
Try the F16I and experience true suffering, same BR btw.
EF is one of the best (non RU braindead) CAS planes atm.

I think PoBIT is better due to GBU-53’s release speed( it also has MITL iirc), plus its smaller, can carry similiar amount of loadout,(not gonna count brimstones cause you can barely use them against any competitive Pantsir player).
Ever since I unlocked the PoBIT it became one of my favorite CAS jet.

If typhoon is sending brimstones just focus on the Typhoon itself.
Those missiles takes ages to reach their target while you can simply snipe the Typhoon with SV-SM thanks to BS magical Mach-5 50G missiles.

A S1 can’t touch you if done correctly though.
I haven’t tried it enough against the SM yet.

I also never see it, i only see hornets and eagles.
The spice has mitl too, i never use it though.
S1 is nothing compare to SM.
Those magical missiles makes huge difference between two platform.
Plus S1 is huge and has worse radar than SM which makes it eaiser target for enemy CAS.

I honestly hate playing it in the current meta.
Yes, they usually get distracted, run out of missiles when i throw all 20, or their missiles dont fuse at all cuz too small bomb, then i just dip and go from side while they distracted and throw some Mavericks
People sleep on it but its such a good CAS platform.
You got HARMS, K Band coverage on RWR which actually gives launch warning against Pantsir, AESA radar and small profile.
I mean yea that certainly works against those people who don’t know their truck can actually move.
So every time basically
