BUK will be the least affected SAM of you lose the Radar unit you can still use the 2 launchers.
IRIS-T/Skysabre/SAMP-T all die if the Radar unit is destroyed.
Russia with a mach 3.0 ARM no way an IRIS-T or Skysabre will be able to drive to avoid that.
It was though and they have removed it on the Dev.
Adding modules that do nothing is not a nerf.

Indeed. Thats probably why there’s almost no air spawn vs Rus. It takes alot to take down a BUK complex. Then they spawn Pantsir SM-SV, Pantsir S1 is aviable as free reserve spawn as well. At the end its just overkill.
If arh sams ever gets fixed people will understand why bul was getting called bias in dev, the kinematics on that thing are insane
BUK is very strong, hard to kill with guns and missiles not always killing it with those giant missiles not cooking off.
And while it is flawed the missiles are potent
BUK was getting overglazed in dev mainly becacuse of it’s range (which it will never reach in practical sessions) and the individual radars. It’s not OP by any means, sure it’s one of the better SAMS but only by a margin. Not enough to try and use it to undermine all the other vehicles.
You forget the best feature it has, speed.

Yeah, but it takes time to get up to speed with such a large missile… hence why I said it’s not the best at close range
Yeah, it’s just that ADATS’ missiles don’t do M5 and ADATS doesn’t have 50, or so, missiles and ADATS doesn’t have AESA radar and…apart from this, they’re the same. :D
Obviously, but I don’t see the sense in pointing out “side affects” that may be on other vehicles, even if they are arguably worse.
