I mean I was playing just before the release of it and was just below the BR bracket of it. I have had my head hammered into teh ground 1 too many times while it soaks half a teams fire to be bothered with naval again.

Its essentially a F14B with a slightly better radar and both get 9Ms next update. So its alright but the matchmaker will be harsh.
Same, i did grind german naval with the Gneisenau which was alright, because the amount of 8.7s i met was limited but as soon as i unlocked Bismarck and played 8.7 constantly i said nah thanks. Now i only play naval when i need to replenish my SL after blowing it all on gamba boxes.
Well its a the new best US air grinder and tbh having the first F14D with potentially AMRAAMS be a 80 buck premium would be kinda lame. I hope that they add a tech tree variant soon and then change the weapons for both.
Yeah the turtleback really puts in some work and naval is so compressed that every 7.0 game is a pure slaughter with them.
Fair but with the naval premiums a bad 20 minute game easily nets you 200k+ SL. That is juicy
now we are going to get russian MITL missiles Lemurs etc. and only AA system that can really handle countering them for any decent amount of time is going to be SM-SV.
Almost all other systems will be out of munitions after a few reloads, let alone difficulty as it is to hit a heli that is now able to fully terrain mask if they want to fire missiles.
We need better short range intercept options for incoming missiles for all other nations.
yea its a shame then because something like the CS/SA5 can actually do an amazing job with ahead rounds destroying incoming missiles but it just cannot lock, fire and change targets effectively. Soon as the turret rotates it forgets all the previous tracks only sometimes like a really early search radar, and will need to wait a second before reattempting to lock. As well having no Idenitifiers.
If china had that at least it would be nice but its also really buggy for trying to fire LOAL missiles since soon as you change target to one of the missiles to fire something at it, the missiles in air will try to go after that instead if they aren’t pitbull yet. its weird.
Least having more nations with competitive anti-missile options would be good.
