the difference is that multi-vehicle SPAA need a lock cuz they use IR/ARH (just like the russian BUK-M3 everybody’s crying about), while Pantsir, ADATS, Stormer, etc don’t cuz they use SACLOS missiles.
basically any SPAA that uses SACLOS missiles will have an endurance buff by the fact they can react faster, it’s not some kind of “russian only” thing.

Recently added, but USSR had KH-38 slingers first for a long time with the Su-25, Su-34 and then Su-30. Against Flarakrad, ADATS, Otomatics, etc.
Anyway, still the kh38 stays at the best plane armament for CAS, slow AGM-184, AGM-65 or glide bombs are not in the same level.
Things its Gaijin should add things similar to counterparts from the other nation. Reminder to you that Italy, Japan and Israel still doesnt have any SACLOS spaa to counter LDIRCM helis at least, Russia first pantsir was good enough, no reason to add another one stronger than the other.
Because Gaijin keep adding new things instead of filling gaps nations still need at lower BRs.

Difference its that you can multipath a, for example, SAMP/T and then drop munitions very close to him so the vertical launched missiles will not be able to intercept it, but pantsir sm-sv will be able to, and kill you with cannons.
You can launch 3 missiles to the ADATS, it manages to destroy 1, lucky if 2, but the third one will always hit the target, just not enough time to shoot and guide with 1 missile at a time.
No need to multipath an ADATS.
With the gepard still same escenario, maybe just 1 ordinance its enough

ofc, there isn’t, NATO only has transonic ordnance or hipersonic spiky missiles launched from F-18s.
i’m a russian main and i’m not crashing out cuz a nation as invisible as Japan got a russian plane with Kh-38MTs.
i have been grinding the german TT with the Leopard 2A4M, and IN MY LIFE i have gotten killed by a Kh-38MT, nor a LMUR, so i don’t understand why so much hate to something as rare to see nowdays.

I thought about this as well.
This took way too much attention away from actually OP vehicles.
My entire sentiment: “Oh no! SAMP/Pantsir SMSV/etc! Anyway…” Just doesn’t spawn CAS and enjoys spawning 3 - 4 more tanks instead.

Should we give you mains a medal for that? blufor as a whole has been getting better variants of US vehicles ever since the 2nd half of the cold war (F-15J, F-16J, F-15J(M), F-16 OCU (France), etc.) And even when Japan got its Su-30MKM, Russia got the SM2 which is technologically and objectively better than the original SM.
You people are acting like you’re getting mistreated or neglected by Gaijin, when it’s clearly not the case.

and then the enemy spawns CAS because they’re unimpeded by the useless SPAA they have to fight, and your team gets obliterated in a matter of minutes by several helis or jets firing f&f vollies and auto-lose

No, WE knew the threat of AGM-65D, Gaijin didn’t; Gaijin isn’t us.
If Gaijin did they would’ve listened to our demands for better SPAA, but they dismissed our demands vocally.

The enemy team loses because they bring too much CAS and get overwhelmed by tanks on the ground while friendly SPAA deters and defeats enemy CAS. Literally happens all the time from 2019 to today.
Cause while most maps are large, most played maps at the top end have features that make getting targeted by CAS difficult.

Yes, and most of my losses are due to my team bringing more CAS than the enemy.
Which is partially why all my lineups don’t have CAS in them.

so u basically want the nation that hand-crafted the goddamn plane u bought from them to have worse planes that the nation that got the main idea of developing that plane?
there’s a reason of why the SR-71 Blackbird was never sold to any nation.
same for u and all the NATO mains.
NATO has very competent and even good vehicles/weaponry, there’s no reason for crying and claiming about a single nation having something ur nation doesn’t.
