They didnt take it as valid, because they do not accept photos or videos.
But then, you ask yourself, where did they get official documents stating BMPT can survive ammo racks from the turret?
“Fix”…
Then why does the continuous belt still have a section immune to cookoffs?
At least this vehicles not undertiered as well being overpowered 🤣
- i was talking about the Leclerc, just like u referred to in ur reply, but looks like u’re ignoring that or smth
- tho the autoloader is attached to the turret, it’s job is not turning the turret. it should make turning the turret a lot more difficult, not block it entirely + not being able of reloading. go make a bug report if u want, i don’t care and i will give u a +1 if that means giving russian tanks something they “deserve”.
maybe it could limit the turret traverse to the traverse when the battery turns off (like 3/8º per sec).
Last i checked neither is the job of the sheet aluminium surrounding the crew in nato tanks but hey you do you
At this point. Make bmp2, bmp3, bmd4 and other 2a42/2a72 carriers immune to ammorack. 2s38 as well because why not. 2s38 is literally same case as bmpt but crew doesnt sit on shells.
wdym?
easily first one to be at top tier for air BRs even when 5th gen arrives
The turret basket has no function in rotating the turret. That is the job of the turret ring. The logic of attaching the turret basket to the horizontal drive in game is that significant damage to the basket could jam the horizontal actuation. The same is true of the autoloader, which is not linked to the horizontal drive.
None of those have blowout pannels, not even in X-Ray
So is the autoloader in redfor tanks…
Neither does bmpt but devs decided to use power of…

Hitting the lower or center part of the turret basket should not destroy the turret ring, thats the problem.
BMPT its more of a classified information thing, so thats why no official documents, but bmp2/3 and such pretty sure they are de-classified.
Anyway, footage should be equal or more important source than documents
talking with u is like talking to a wall

russian’s “turret basket” is the autoloader, which isn’t made to turn the turret, nor even has something related to traverse, and it turns by it’s own to switch between the different projectiles u carry.
NATO’s “turret basket” is that thing i showed u where it clearly shows how all the things related to turning the turret, mechanisms, controls, etc, is attached to the horizontal drive.
The BMPT can’t currently survive ammo racks from the turret at this time, so that question is moot.
Once again, the ammo in the turret currently causes an internal fire, and it’s been that way for over a month now.
Only the external portion of the belt doesn’t. This isn’t my take, nor am I saying this is correct or not.

@Metaltank1990
The theory is that belted ammo can’t cook of near ammo when the belt links are under tension.
I have no evidence one way or the other, so I have no take on that theory.
The only thing I know is 7.62 belted ammo can’t cook off near ammo when the belt is under tension, but 7.62 isn’t 30mm so that can’t be used as evidence.
@Kievskiy_Minipig
Why should those vehicles be immune when BMPT isn’t?

the nefarious actuation motor on the hull:
it shouldn’t, but it would still block the turret’s traverse.
however, it would help repair much faster since u don’t have to repair an unnecessary part of ur tank.
I get that, but the point is not realism but consistency. Name any other vehicle in game with a continuous belt and you hit any section of that belt and it implodes.
