The Pantsir SM-SV is Simply Too Strong, Russian Bias as Clear as Day

Please give me name AA which radar switching sorry but i dont know whit ich and i have full US,GER,ZSSR,FR three

IRIS-T SLM, CS-SA5, Pantsir S1, Pantsir S1-SM SV, Giraffe, Spyder and everything with a TWS, but its more noticeable on the ones that have their own dedicated TWS radars like CS-SA 5 and both pantsirs

All what you name have autoamtic system to targering but only Pantsir S1-SM must use manual becos automatic 90% miss.Betther say cant be use manual fire corecting line Pantsir S1-SM or flakpanzer

uh huh, it is not that big of a deal, it switches target but u just need to switch back to that target, and to make it better, you can use the auto guidance or the radar screen to avoid that issue

mind you in this clip i had taken already another 9 munitions including using my ammo box

TOR (M1, M2 and HQ17), both pantsirs, CSSA5. Anything that does not have full lock but runs on soft lock.

deadass forgot about TOR M1 and HQ 17 but yeah those aswell have the same issue but are in worst conditions due to a worst search radar

People really did themselves a huge favour by constantly asking for better CAS lol

Sure, not of much use.

Aster 30 beats sky sabre in practically every way too.

You missed the “almost every time” part

Which it can theoretically do if they fly high and don’t chaff like how any other ARH SAM theoretically can. One chaff and it folds.

Key thing missed here is that because of “gameplay decisions”, ARH SAMs don’t excel in the places that sky sabre theoretically maybe has an advantage. Even aside for CAMM as a system being so horrifically gimped it’s absurd, your main play in an ARH SAM is to spawncamp the air spawn, which sky sabre literally cannot do (it’s too weak kinematically), or to just intercept munitions and pray they don’t realise they can just head back and rearm, which CAMM is unreliable for at best.

True

it’ll be before then, also russias 75+ winrate? where you seeing that , their highest winrate is nearly 60 percent, at you guessed it 11.3.
Absolutely nothing to do with pantsir, or FnF munition.

Gotta say I’ve not had that big a deal with the SMSV yet, using KH29s launched from a JH7A.
I

LOAL will definitely break a lot if it’s added even performing semi accurately.
LOAL, is the last thing we need in the game right now, what we need is either need is for them to remove lofting from certain muntions -.- or add it to the others which will balance out the pantsir a bit.

adding LOAL just going to wipe out GRB.

I hereby diagnose you with ultra skill issue.

Or just do everything on the radar screen. The moment the AESA radar is activated, just click the next target you want, lock, fire, repeat. because if there’s too many targets on the AESAS radar, you’ll be jumping between too many.

That is always a possibility

pantsir players trying to…

checks notes

click the target, launch a missile, and do absolutely nothing?

I’m sorry, how are you employing the missile? And do you know you don’t have to use the radar screen to make the missile auto guide 95YA6M right? You can lock in third person, fire, and then switch targets and the radar will guide that missile in unless it either goes out of range, the target out maneuvers the missile, or the radar simply loses line of sight to the target. All three are extremely unlikely to happen in the case of 95Ya6M, its range is extremely high at 40KM, it can pull 50G’s so out maneuvering it is effectively impossible, and the time you have to react to the launch to get into cover is minimal considering the missile is literally hypersonic. I really don’t think you know how to use the anti air systems correctly.

The horror of effectively using one of the most potent anti air systems in game!

ADATS, Stormer HVM, ItO, etc having to lead their missiles manually to make up for the missiles wasting a bunch of energy when using them as intended by Gaijin

Meanwhile the Pantsir is sitting here with full ACLOS while having easiest to use SACLOS missiles by far

Don’t mind my supbar commentary, not my cup of tea. But I think the 9 minutes explains what a CAS pilot with braincells will do and what an SPAA with braincells can also do.

Watch the video, you’ll see how easy it is to gimp the missle if the target is flying fast and low in mountainous terrain and have somewhere to dip. Remember the missile will lead fast flying targets drastially if it’s left in auto.

Well, if you’re multipathing within LOS of the Pantsir, you’ve already done something wrong. I’d only expect multipathing from longer range SAMS.

You’d be surprised (if you decide to watch the video) how effecetive pre chaffing is to not allow Pantsir to lock you, (this applies to literally everything requiring a direct lock)

ADATS has a radar, can’t they just switch to their radar mode like on the 2s6 and just have it lead for them, or literally anything with a radar and access to the radar sreen.

have you ever tried to IR lock?? i know how pre chaffing works and i have defeated it by using IR lock, in fact the track radars can be multipathed somehow and midflight it can mess ur missile, and IR lock also solves it, apparently doing something else appart from lock and click its enough to inutilize the platform??

whenever you encounter fast planes you can either use your radar screen to guide or switch to your auto guidance, if a target its flying high and too fast i just switch to auto guidance, if its manouvering too much i go back to manual, its not complicated, you just need to press a few more keys, or damn just go to the radar screen mode

main difference with those is the fact that the missile can pull infinitely more G’s and has a LOT less drag than the ADATS, VT1 or even its normal version(95MYa6)
