CAS has been pretty dominate and theyve gotta be careful moving forward, because its not like SPAA are going to be able to keep up in the current environemnt.
Sure they can give U.S more stuff to be on par with Russia, but then what happens with the SPAA and the added nonsense they gotta deal with

They absolutely have to be careful but adding a mach 2 missile on the same side as the by far best SPAA coverage that was not underperforming in the slighest is the opposite of being careful
I will say that the BUKs kd rate was abysmal compared to the IRIST. IRIST handsdown has been the best SAM system in the game, even though thr BUK has better stats on paper.
Unless youre in a custom match where yoy have 50kms+ of space, its short lived.
The base Pantsir is only notorious right now for being able to iintercept a handful of munitions, but in the current munition spam environemnt, it couldnt keep up, not to mention how people have said its not that hard to deal with anyways.

Most people know gaijin doesn’t care. Wonder if they remember the steam review bomb from a couple years ago and why it happened.They don’t interact with the community and the only ones that do are forum moderators. Their bug report “staff” are of no help half of the time. And the entire Gaijin staff most likely don’t even play their own game. And basically if its not Russian, its not worth their time.

Most SPAA have bad stats compared to IRIS T but those trees dont get anything and they dont even have something like the Pantsir as backup
Simply because those trees dont have anything irl to make up for it. Its just another one off sam system.
So its no surprise Gaijin was able to add the next evolution of the Pantsie since Russia didnt only focus on SAMS but shorads to defend the sams.
The entire point of the Pantsir lineage is defend the actual SAM systems.

Youre still focused on SPAA, those trees could absolutely have gotten something else to make up for their bad SPAA but they got nothing. Only russia got something the instant one of their top tier parts was allegedly underperforming.
It is a surprise because this game should be focusing on balance. When you add one vehicle, you need to think about what other nations can bring to the table. Should we really make it historical? It’s not gonna be good

Adding a Patriot wouldnt change anything, a better SAM system that still has the same pitfalls as all the other SAMS in game

That is true but then I could make the argument why all the other nations dont got Type 90 equivalents with 3 second autoloaders.

I will admit that BUK is absolutely abysmal compared to IRIS-T (in terms of KDR but not so much in interception rates), but I feel like adding a newer Pantsir was an overreaction by Gaijin, at least not without adding the necessary tools to have a proper counter, and I feel like there is nothing Western forces can receive that could overwhelm this new Pantsir system, other than maybe Brimstone 2/3 with mmW seekers.
So we are back to the old status quo of Russia having the best in class in both SPAA and CAS. It is still a SACLOS system at the end of the day and can be taken out like any other, but it is such an overkill system when S1 Pantsir was still more than capable.

It’s 4 seconds. And reloading rate is a balancing decision not based on sources. Leclerc and type 90 have the same official source but Gaijin gave them different values
The S1 was more then capable, but ive noticed its slowly fallen.
Thats just because the S1 ends up running out of missiles a CAS pilot throws in one pass
If we get HARMs this year, then what could Western forces receive? I feel like whatever they add is going to be negated by the new Pantsir anyway. Russia and Japan would not even need HARMs because they have Kh-38 already, which would be superior in almost every regard.
Its still 4 seconds regardless, every nation has unique stuff or certain focuses.
The real answer maybe woukdve been bigger maps and maybe CAS not being able to carry 1 million things and maybe playing SPAA wouldnt of been so bad.
But at the end of the day, Gaijin isnt gonna stop the game because, “oh this one nation has a special system that nobody else focused on”.
