Queen Elisabeth in WW2 refit would be faster, more armored than Marlborough, have modern secondaries and decent AA cover. It will provide much to the table and could easily be 7.3 if decompression happens. Vanguard is another step over Queen, with great AA cover, much better speed, advanced fire control systems, a lot of additional crew and some additional armor.
I just hope the next U.S Battleship can fire a second salvo before the match is over…
I think the next thing the game needs to develop is the cockpit camera on the ship!
I guess next step battleship toptier gajin might consider battleship interwar era with WW2 refit, and battleship early WW2 era from great britain & US Navy after major update “la royale” in the future
Kgv would be better balanced then vanguard as would QE class. Vanguard is the last battleship built no way it comes next. Its way too advanced.
We dont have any interwar battleships yet for britain except hood. Everything wlse was in service before ww1
King george is too powerful to be considered for now. And it is easily on par with vanguard if not better. Year of service doesnt say much in that case, both will be lower in BR than Nelson
I just wounder why they’re bypassing so many world war 1 battlecruisers and battleship and directly jump to 1944 refits etc…
Maybe because Gaijin first think ‘capital ships can have weak AA because cruisers will help AA defence’ and in reality they find out it is not?
They need to reblance ships vs planes anyways.
Soon even more modern ships will be introduced at BR’s around 8 or even more. So we would have WW2 Battleships facing jets and jet bombers. If you think this through, when the Yamato finally comes at BR 9 or something, it would be ruthlessly engaged by jets with long range missiles…
missiles… will not be a big issue. We already saw Komoran didn’t be a big issue for ships bigger than destroyer. What they could do at best is killstealing already dying ships.
Actually what would be more problematic is as Bravy shows, ships with missiles will not having a high BR due to their lack of firepower against cruisers and battleships. Imagine ships firing much easier SARH missiles to 7.X~8.X aircrafts. It would be also problematic.
Vanguard is better then kgv. What are you basing your balance on? Vanguard has the most modern armour design, the more powerful guns, more modern gunnery systems and superior handling. And this is saying something becaunse KGV is my fav battleship of all time.

It’s not a massacre because planes in RB naval are completely useless even if they had an armament of 300 torpeoes.

Aside from RBs, the problem of aircraft in ABs is a problem that needs to be solved.
Any measures to change the Pe-8 and other large bombers to base start, slow down the reload of bombs, and limit the BR of aircraft that can be brought in to be below that of the ships are necessary.
I think the fact that aircraft are slaughtering ships in the low BR zone of AB, which is the entry point for those who want to start the sea, is also the reason for the low population of the sea.

I’m probably an outliner in this discussion but some thoughts.
While most look to WWII for further Battleships I personally wish they would add older pre-dreadnoughts to the game example the SMS Schleswig-Holstein along with further Armoured Cruisers (The Tsukuba class was one although we see Ikoma rerated as a Battlecruiser in game) as every nation could get such ships with them having BR’s down to even probably 4.7.
Similar we could even see Coastal Defence Battleships added and those would be perfect for the coastal TT example the USS Iowa BB-4/ CDS No.19 or HMVS/HMAS Cerberus.
Furthermore we still have a great amount of Dreadnoughts & Battlecruisers missing in game from the Great War & similar designs from allied nations of each side of the great war (example the Tegetthoff class of the Austro-Hungarian navy) & or WWII before we even see WWII ships for current nations in game, I still hold hopes of seeing HMS Agincourt for the brits similar the Indefatigable class as well like HMAS Australia (I) or say even the Mackensen class for germany.

Prince of Wales would be a great ship to come.
You can add the big guns BBs but they should tier naval like WoW does it. So ww1 ships face ww1 ships and so on. Bc i saw the Nassau in the files. Im great just like IRL the high seas fleet will be nice but get demolished by interwar and ww2 ships.
