The new Yak-130 is way too OP for 8.3 Ground RB matches

Poor servers is not a result of cas bias, maybe stop shooting the same spot and git gud…

Loses to the yak130 btw

Maybe if you don’t know how to fly it.

yak130 has 2 degrees more sustained rate(massive difference) and significantly better energy retention. In a 130 vs a5 sabre matchup the yak can simply rate or loop the sabre to death with zero counters.

And the Alpha Jet will out-rate the Yak 130.
However, this is a ground discussion where Stingers & Rolands easily deal with these aircraft when launched correctly.

Akhm Ayit

Alpha Jet does not outrate Yak-130. The Thai one has better mid-high speed rate than the 130(but Yak130 can match with its low speed rate), and the Yak-130 having much better negative SEP lines as well as better engine performance means it will very consistently win.

Comparably, the A5 sabre does have better negative SEP lines, but only for the first couple turns since it has an anemic leafblower engine compared to the Yak which can pull passive and very easily kill it.

Also, a Yak/Alpha Jet player who can’t roll stingers and rolands does not deserve to fly the plane.

You haven’t actually tested the Yak-130 then.
The Yak-130’s minimum speed is above 500kph in mouse aim controls as of last test, and at that speed it was sustaining about 19.7.

If you used paper stats like Statshark rather than “real-world” testing, you should change your approach.

Also, SPAA players that know how to predict & lead for plane movement counter your tactic.

You’re still both spewing total rubbish

The Yak-130 will not be pulling that with 4,000 pounds of guided bombs.

Why are we just outright lying?

Many IR MANPADs have zero counter to the yak130, since the missile(stinger, igla, even mistral, though it’s harder) is physically incapable of hitting a player doing a snap roll, even in an airframe as sluggish as the A-4

With the Roland, you can very easily outroll the radar lock guidance or outpull/lead it into the ground if you are close enough.

This isn’t rocket science, any CAS player who actually knows how to fly their plane(obviously not you) will be able to do this.

0/10 rage post that can be interpreted as having bait.

The fact your post claims people that know how to defeat Stingers don’t know how to play CAS.
Then the claim War Thunder itself is lying, and then you prove exactly what I stated the game stated:

Also, Rolands have IR tracking as their best option.

If you actually watched the video, you would see that I am maintaining a turn of 20.4-20.8 deg/s after stabilizing.

The type of tracking literally does not matter for the Roland, if they are using tracking you can simply snap roll from any aspect as the missile is 2-4 seconds away from hitting you and it will miss.

And yes, if you can’t roll a stinger in yak130/a4b or any plane that can see stingers and doesn’t have the FM of a cargo ship(like a B52 for example), you don’t know how to play CAS

Yes, on less fuel.
If I allow other jets to lower their fuel they’ll also perform better; however, people aren’t dogfighting in ground RB, and in air you’re bringing more fuel.

Also I don’t think you read my post, because you accused people that know how to defeat IR & SACLOS missiles.
But with how CAS on my team has lost me matches in the hundreds, I just don’t spawn CAS anymore.

American jets have been doing this since the very start of the guided ammo era. The Yak130 at least is an easy air target, no flares and flies slightly worse than a MiG17.

They are impossible to hit in a gun spaa, they go straight above and go up and down like a snake so it makes it literally impossible to hit with gajins current radar gun setup.

ground rb is something different, air RB the yak130 is the basic loot target. Gets out fought by everything. Have engaged them in multiple aircraft and they never killed me.
