In previous versions, we could reset the pitch angle and direction of the radar by turning it on and off. Now this function has been cancelled. Even if we set a button to reset the radar direction, the radar will still be in the highest pitch angle state after being reset.

Hm, I don’t manage to control elevation of the radar scan area at all, azimuth however works perfectly (and can be reset with the button I configured for it…).

I know there is a button that can reset the radar, but to add more steps is insane!

before if u lost the lock due to gimble limit it wouldve reset to the middle u didnt even have to turn the radar off and on
Gaijin must fix this with an options that make sure if u dont lock somthing the radar come back to the middle
yeah, bring the old one back this new one is bad

For thos who use this controls its good tho but they need to add a option to lock the radar in place if its not locking someone

Theres another issue, different radar cant be reset in same way, in rafale u can just push the reset derection key and every thing will be good, but in F14 or Flankers this way does not work lol
I have a whole different issue as well, but I think since ages and not restricted to certain aircraft (but I notice it more now on the Hornet as before I rarely flew fighters with TWS):
When I’m in TWS and have soft locked a target, then try to hard lock it (e.g. to engage with AIM-7), very often I need several tries: Often trying the lock will not succeed, and the soft locked target becomes shortly invisible: WT Test Hard Lock F/A-18 (see especially 0:15 onward - sorry for bad quality, still working on that issue haha!)
