At least for now, I feel it’s unlikely they will give the J‑10C a new engine to reduce drag; more likely, they’ll just lower its battle rating directly.

because the chinese sacrificed fuel capacity for flight performance
the J-10 has a substantionally more powerful and fuel hungry engine than the gripen but cant carry as much fuel internally

Its almost been a week, is there any update on the J-10C? Seems as if Gaijin has forgotten about it and has moved onto infantry.
Closure would be nice for all of us :)
imo j-10c vastly superior to both f15c ge and the fa18e. Its missiles are really good and its engine while not the best, still enables it to have good acceleration

for average ARB or ASB gameplay, i would say j-10c is better because of its better missiles, missile count and better acceleration. So when missile jousting most of the match, j-10c is better. Though, in a dogfight, gripen e ofc wins as j-10c is quite heavy, and gripen e is much too light.
Changes like that will not happen within a week or 2.
