With the version update, the highly anticipated j-10c was added to the game. However, in its current state, it’s completely unplayable.
In the current top-tier environment, the j-10c is arguably the worst performer, on par with the f-18e. I don’t know if the development team actually plays the game, but this is genuinely infuriating. Even the f-15c ge is stronger than the j-10c.
Here are the performance stat screenshots for both of my j-10 variants so far.
Win rating only 38%
Moreover, my j-10c is currently in its fully upgraded (spaded) state.
The aircraft’s engine power (or output) is only one of its weaknesses. The biggest problem is still the lack of countermeasures; it’s fundamentally incapable of effectively defending itself. In most situations, engagements result in mutual destruction.
That’s realistic though, that’s all the countermeasures it’s supposed to get. Though if they implement the ircm for the yings iii pod then you could bring all chaff which would be nice.
DIRCM might be too overpowered for aircraft. I think Gaijin could appropriately adjust it, having the Ying S-III’s DIRCM manifest as an increased deployment of chaff or flares instead.
It would only be forward facing so it wouldn’t help at all from the sides and back. The su39 already has it facing backwards and it’s not considered op. Also there’s zero chance it gets extra countermeasures just cause. That’s not a thing, only plane they’ve done that on is the f15a.
Whatever they did. All I need is for Gaijin to change the current predicament facing the J-10C. In its present state, it’s truly unplayable and simply cannot survive.
