Well its no new thing, the netz at 12.7 is pretty crazy, not saying its terrible, the flight performance is amazing and its still fun to fly and play with, but its br doesnt make sense specially when you look at ARB it sits at the logical 12.3 br, where it imo should also be for sim battles even if it wouldnt really change much, since the BR range its usually played is 12.0-13.0.
Why its not really on the correct br you may ask? simple, lets look at what is at the same br or similar br.
First we have all the F18C early versions, all of them have amazing flight model, carries an better radar and has access to more missiles with some of them being either the same as you (AIM–9L) or the much improved (AIM-7P). This itself is already a reason for the netz to be at an lower br since the 18C sits at 12.7 , and the TT F-18A has still access to some similar stuff (9L and 7M) but the same radar, at 12.3 for some reason lol. and when looking at the TT netz it has even less CM than all those F18’s
second on a much more similar platform we have the belgium F16A and F16A OCU, both sit at 12.7 with same ammount but much better fox 2’s ( instead of the 9L’s it carries 9M’s and the OCU can even carry the magic 2) with the only downside i could find is the CM ammount being the same as the TT version (but still sits at the same br ?)
third we have the F2 - sits at 13.0 with much better fox 2, insane radar, and 7M’s with also an insane flight model, and if thats not enough for air-ground its a beast aswell…
and to finish this section we have pretty much any fox 3 slinger at this br, where while its not really an huge deal, its still crazy to get shot by any fox 3 slinger while you cannot even have access to irccm fox2’s.
What else could really be done to help it ? Give it the 9M or phython 4 so it is in par with the belgian one and then makes at least a bit more sense to be at where it is.
While i couldnt find many reliable sources for it having the 9m or phython 4 im pretty sure they modernized them to be able to use those missiles, so why not, gaijin already gives some planes armament it didnt really use irl but was capable of using and this would be just another one, its the selective realism to ballance the game, its not realistic for the game side to lower it bellow 12.3, it would be a mess for 11.0 vehicles when you look at that range so the fix is make it better at where it sits atm.
