i would like to see some documentaition 2g wing is about the same as the b17 bomber which doesnt make sense as it it s a delta canard configuration
In flight testing it never surpassed 2Gs. Thus those are its real world stats.
im being dumb here your telling me a they didnt push a fighter past 2 gs in fligh tests mig25 handled more Gs than that
It had a single test flight that lasted less than an hour, siding surpass 1000m and 600kph. That is its only real world data and anything else is entirely fake.
intresting well we can probably send though a digital simulation with all flight metrics it get a guess on how it would actually perform

Definitely no, OP got a TWR of 1.75 which is more than some rockets. No matter what it will be high key controversial and everyone will hate it for one reason or another.

It had 2 flights first was about 18mins the second one 22 mins and was grounded cause of a unstated reason. I can find documentation on the reason only the first 18 min flight.

To think of it this Mig will probably do more for Russian stealth development being scrapped for funding than it did building the prototype.

While I agree that adding planes based on “should be stats” is bs (Yak141 is already border line), the MiG-1.42 project (1.44 is only the name of the demonstrator) did a lot in terms of development. It was a much more ambitious design than even the Su57

The key word there is ambitious. The Mig 1.44 was nothing more than a desire and from what we can gather it’s “marketed” performance would have been nothing but fairy dust which is why they killed the program.
For stealth development it marks the first time (as far as I know) RCS reduction measures started to take place in USSR/Russia.
For general aircraft development:
A step forward in engine technology
Thrust vectoring research
Delta canard aerodynamic research.
In general with projects like this the drawings, wind tunnel test, math, simulations etc. done are extremely valuable even if the final project is a failure.
The program was most likely killed because of insufficient fundings together with many other late 80s early 90s projects MiG made.

A step forward in engine technology: Hard to say. If it were true I would be expecting a lot more 11:1 TWR engines. The closest I could find to this is the AL-41F tech being used on the AL-31 for upgrades but for how true that is I don’t know the same source says the 41 was producing 44,00 lbs of thrust.
Thrust vectoring research: I wouldn’t contribute this to the 1.44 more to the SU-37, SU-30.
Delta canard aerodynamic research: if by research you mean to not continue with it maybe? The data received and it’s actual value can only be speculative. Just the same as I am just making speculations based off the data I can find.
While I agree with Edison’s you learn more from your mistakes. The fact they never continued with an aircraft that looks similar to this program I doubt much was learned. But I am highly skeptical of the data of this aircraft when you have others that have gone so much further with development that were built around or before it.
While insufficient funds could have been an issue for the development of other prototypes it was grounded after it’s second flight more likely do to discovery of an issue. Hence why it doesn’t fly anymore while the SU-37 had it’s last flight in 13.
But still that is all speculative.
