The Mikoyan-Gurevich project 1.44

I actually find this article intriguing. Anyway you can get me the sources he listed?

Doesn’t change my opinion that this aircraft was a psyop to instill fear into the west and doesn’t belong in WT.

I also do think this “copy” was built to evaluate these things cause it didn’t have the space or the items listed on the aircraft.

But your article compared to everyone else and even what I could find actually has believable numbers. They contradict in some places but that is why I want to read the sources.

Ka-50 😏

Not saying it was Psyop, but was an entirely new Idea and Concept, which America incorporated many of similar systems to their Apache.

Interesting I’ve seen those as 2 different helicopters that fill the same roll. What systems did the US take from the KA-50 to add to the Apache?

LMFAO no. Let me know what ass you pulled that out of.

Time travel, obviously. The Apache’s first flight was in 1975 while the Ka-50 didn’t fly until the 80s.

Fly by wire systems, heavy armor, good survivability, and overall improved targeting systems.

Speaking of that, the Ka-50 is missing 20mm Titanium armor around the cockpit :P

Also; I should I specified that they didn’t literally take these systems, they just incorporated similar systems and ideas into the design.

You genuinely don’t know how big of a deal the Ka-50 was to the entire helicopter design industry.

Russian aerospace engineering, specifically helicopter industry have been on the forefront of technology until later years.

Wow, you found the YAH-64 (prototype) first flight…

It doesn’t matter, pilot never dies. Theres some completely unrealistic values for the pilots HP

It would matter tho if the armour (note Im not familiar with internals of Ka-50) covers some of the internal components which would increase it survivability whenever Gaijin adds detailed modules

Like engines and important components!

Imagine still arguing
@Thenighthunter

I beg to differ after playing it for a bit, from missies, no, because they have a heavy ass flak jacket and I believe some pilots utilize the titanium “lobster” like armor like they did in Afghanistan. Bullets, not so well off.

Oh no he’s replying 😱😱😱

These are all systems incorporated before the KA-50 program even started in 1977. The AH-64 and A-10 actually share a lot in common.

I could say the same about the Ka-50 and Su-25, so what’s your point behind that comment?

IIRC the A-10 doesn’t have a Boron-carbide-Kevlar composite armor.

Excuse me?

What mental asylum do you come from?

So essentially a spaced anti-fragmentation armor?

Yeah they share a lot in common. Both are CAS aircraft that were designed to increase crew survival rates. With up armoring the cockpit, triple redundant measures, and spacing the engines high and apart.
