The MI28NM problem

Wouldn’t flying away put the missile in the blindspot? Assuming it’s doing any lofting.
You’d need to almost notch and bank to get it in the bubble from a rear angle.

Isn’t having a good SPAA a good thing? Aren’t you complaining about the CAS? So whenever Russia has it, it isn’t good? And the Russian IFVs are just average for the BR they’re at. There are many other alternatives to the Kh-38 in other trees. And since you said:

You literally has provided a solution by yourself. You can literally use these to counter the helicopters. What excuse do you have to not use them?

There are no fake properties to Russian aircraft. And there are many similar aircraft in other trees. Russia isn’t the only one. So next update you’re gonna be complaining about the capabilities of the Z10, am I right?

RazerVon levels of dr*gs right there.
What are you on.

I’m already complaining.
The Z-10 and Apache Es LDIRCM is already over performing

They’re not supposed to be 360 force fields.
They can’t defend from IRIST, nor do they not have blind spots.

The missile was coming in under the tail, directly in the way of the LDIRCM.

You can ask @ItsOnyy hes the one that fired it lol

I should probably edit and upload that video to my YouTube but it might become outdated the moment the update goes live.

Could be funny to watch lolz

Plus, @Ghost_of_TelAviv took a vid too

Maybe give me an example. Russia aircraft are pretty mediocre right now.

LDIRCM is the only thing making helis usable. Without it, helis cannot compete with aircraft

Lmao if you call russian planes mediocre is because you dont have those planes or you never faced them.

There are a lot of videos of russian aircrafts dominating top tier. You can either watch it in YT or ask me to show you some replays (last match 3
su33
Su-30SM were giving my team a real hard time)

You cant compare the fast and destructive kh38 to the slow agm65 or bombs.

Also you cant ask for magic properties to make vehicles competitive, sure ldircm going to protect you from aim9m and such. But against 5th gen missiles its just unrealistic.

I’ve faces Russian planes while playing as china. And they’re not that bad. You can pull out exceptional cases for every plane. But that doesn’t automatically make it good. And I doubt you have proof that LDIRCM can’t protect against 5th gen missiles

The first thing here would be to establish what exactly you believe is implied to be the difference between Laser-DICRM, and Regular “DIRCM” systems.

Would you agree that a system that nominally defeats missiles by permanently damaging the seeker, would be better understood to be a Direct-Energy Weapon (DEW).

LDIRCM was made to counter IR missiles like manpads, not IIR missiles like aim9x.

What source you have that LDIRCM can fool IIR missiles? Cause even a simple google search tells you otherwise

Cant tell if he is ragebaiting or just ignorant.

He totaly is ragebating, in every thread.

This indicates that the laser would have to be at least 100W to damage within 1KM.
Someone earlier said wattage in air is chopped in half, so it would have to be a 200W laser at minimum.

The conclusion indicates that the laser will have to damage not dazzle to defeat the image sensor as the rest of the tests were all done with the assumption of a 1-10W laser.
AH-64E CIRCM hits that threshold with a 200-250w laser. Not sure about the MI-28NM

It can fool all modern IR missiles

Yea sure buddy

One little detail. IR missiles, not a single word about IIR, buddy.

That incudes the POST seeker Stingers too as they uses a Rosette seeker (a pseudo-imaging technique) and are dual band UV/IR.

But of course this has yet to be implemented after more than a year.
