Luck is enough. LDIRCM on mi28 is super random in this patch. At least that was true for the first 2 weeks of this patch, when I was playing mi-28nm. Maybe something has changed, but I doubt it.
you literally put your blind spot into the flight path of the missile, you cant complain about it hitting you

lofting in game is weird and depends on range so it absolutely can, and you depicted your nose for the first on significantly higher than it was
There is no blindspot for LDIRCM in WT. And it shouldn’t really counter the IRIS-T SLM to begin with. Same for several other missiles.

Okay, there’s absolutely no way to properly defeat the “lofting in game is weird” argument.
Then let's move on to another case:
that one is hard to tell, you did roll so it was in your blind spot at impact but cant really see much
but every once in a while the other LDIRCM helis will also be killed by IR missiles, so thats not unique to MI28NM
also on your earlier diagram only had half the forward blind spot modeled because it extends twice the angel between that line and the forward axis
