How can MI28 detect F15 and other jets on RWR while for Apache it only says AI?

Yet doesn’t that say more about the heli than the team, for example, the AH Mk1, with it’s starstreaks is a hard counter to SACLOS SAMs, so as seen here when I demolish the enemy SPAA (all actively trying to shoot me down), it is a testament to the performance of my weaponry and situational awareness than the supposed skill of the enemy team
2S38, S1, RDF, 2x ADATS, strela (50/50). All these tanks are more than capable of shooting down your helicopter. Or do you mean AMERICANBIAS? :D

what is the “deserter team” supposed to do against a heli that doesnt even have to peek them for longer than a few seconds? what is spaa supposed to do? the IR missiles literally dont work, SACLOS cant reach the heli in time and ARH cant even lock the damn thing bc it has barely any radar signature

Penetrating defenses seems to be the bottom line of his reasoning
Problem is, you either pen the defenses (because not enough AA and SAMs pers km of front line basically) or you don’t
If you want to do some deep strikes though, you’re usually going to strike something fixed, and as a certain conflict shows, drones can do that fine
Tree top is also nice, but if the opposing airforce is half competent and has an awacs linked to its long range SAMs, the helis are basically done.
Finally the assumption that a target far from a front line wouldn’t be protected is questionnable. It’s not like cruise missiles / ballistic missiles have been around for decades at this point, and strategic sites protection has evolved accordingly
