The MI28NM problem

Looks like the operator corrects that other wise would it have changed target itself?

It does correct it… but at the last part the small “X” (I guess this is the marked spot/target) stayed till the end, so my conclusion is that its locked on to the target (only in the terminal phase, not like we have it in game right now).

Which makes it pretty much half F&F instead of its current state.

True… the same as Spike… but if they’re implemented with the real guidence it will be even more toxic to ground targers… Imagine helli sitting behind a hill (any hard cover) lobing missiles and able to correct them mid-flight (from the seeker pov) in order to hit the weakspots/inside smoke screans… I guess that was balancing desigion or engine limitation/spaghetti code etc.

LMUR is toxic as hell, KH38MT is toxic as hell. PARS is artificially nerfed due to lofting values and bad targeting goal. SPIKE is completely screwed too. “No, we can’t buff either of them or fix even the lofting, it would be toxic!”

They could reign things in, in a few ways;

Only permit targeting updates only while LoS is retained to the Missile, this could be handled the same way as existing SACLOS missiles (e.g. BGM-71 TOW) require it to continue to update their point of intercept, and they otherwise retain last known course.

Or additionally

By modeling the antenna’s angular properties to restrict FoR permitting guidance as mechanism to limit aggressive terminal maneuvering.

Both ways are fine, but we hit the other major problem that we have in game - small maps… the missiles will enter terminal phase and hard-lock tha target before they go out of LoS or reach antenna limitations.

Rafale is toxic; JAS39A was toxic; T58 is toxic; Fox is toxic; XM800T is toxic; multy-pathing is toxic; British/French/Japanese/Israely/Italian tanks dont have internal moduls is toxic; FnF A-G missiles at 10.3 are toxic… and many more… pick your poison

Sure, make their armor profile and their overall performance realistic then you can add internal modules for all of them.

Btw Merkava’s do have internal modules.

I assure you you’re not gonna like the outcome tho.

It’s either all or nothing.

Funny how you didn’t mention JagM

Because at the end of the day it’s still just a Hellfire, and Hellfires are trash due to how HEAT warheads are modeled.

Nooo youre not supposed to say that!

Or just learn where to aim.

You do get that IR seekers randomly pick a module to aim at, and take no further cues from the pilot once off the rail.

The issues with the terminal dive angle don’t help either.

You do realize you cannot “Aim” those ir missiles on Ah-64E which is based on Hellfires right?

You talked about hellfires and said they are trash.

See above.

The JAGM is a Hellfire.

As @tripod2008 said JAGM’s are hellfires.

Yea i know, but he said Hellfires are trash due to HEAT and i am saying the are not.

Well it’s not like Gaijin have modeled the Blast effects of the IBFS warhead, or added the Blast-Frag or FAE(MAC) variants
