The MI28NM problem

OHHH NOO, anyway. good, its still GRB, CAS only ever is supposed to be support, not the main attraction,
If you get destroyed by Pumas, then that was a skill issue

Well, here we are again, Russian Bias via Top Attack from mighty lmur…

how blatantly blind you have to be to not aknowledge the differences of the flight path?
Or how history of vehicles in the game like ka-50/pantsir for example to deny the fact some things are obviously made stronger in the face of making one nation stand out from the others?

How many posts have been made here on other forums where people stated the glide path of hellfires to be wrong and devs telling us that it is hard to implement or other excuses while now we have the LMURs that work fine and have what we wanted for hellfires… How long it took to nerf the vikhrs which were slaying aircraft and tanks a like without any problems with even unskilled players doing that just by pressing 2 buttons… lock and shoot

“Russophobia”, “bigotry discrimination” (very funny if you think about what you wrote), “look up germany 33-45”

You are just O O Z I N G with intelligence.

You can literally do the same thing with 8, you have infinite rearms. And kill potential on LMUR is nearly 100% lmao

Rearming takes time and plenty of AAs already have 30+ missiles on their disposal, so having 16 available is much appreciated.

Reduced down to like 10 seconds with crew skills, 13 on expert. Its barely noticable. And the SPAAs will eventually run out of missiles. Unless they go to open points where they are extremely easy to kill.
More missiles is better, but its genuinely not such a big deal. Especially with JAGMs not being as capable as LMURs at killing something in one hit

Hell LMURs are so fucking funny that the loft path goes high up with strike path being near vertical drop, letting you kill targets in cities and in hiding extremely well. Every other missile has a more angled strike path meaning its easier to block with environment, hide from, hell even intercept via hard kill APS. Ive not had a single one of my LMURs intercepted yet. By all accounts this missile coupled with the LDIRCM performance on Mi28NM makes the combined package actually busted.

Getting destroyed by Pumas is lack of attention on someone shooting at you, the problem is the super overpowered new Spaas, mainly Sky Saber that can literally hide behind an entire building and shoot everyone without 0 chance of being killed by air means, and the IRIS T, for obvious reasons such as no warnings of shooting, can target people taking off airfield on certain maps, and missiles are very hard to dodge, we need HARM missiles asap to deal with this and make CAS great again.

Exactly, I’m finding the Z10ME and AH64E are having much better results than the average MI28, mainly because they stay alive much longer thanks to their superior DIRCM 360 bubble, not to mention the AH64E AGM is having similar kill/to/hit ratios, like 70% of the time, but the problem as always is “russia bias” just because more people are playing the MI28 than there are people playing the other helis

shouldnt work against iris-t either. its implemented completly unrealisticaly

Its an ARH seeker, just get some cover or fly low. Hell the missile barely lofts, as its cold launch.

An IR seekerhead missile vs LDIRCM force field, please tell me you arent being real right now.

or, and hear me out… you need to learn how to play CAS

if you died to puma, not even VJTF but regular one, that means you were flying too close to the battlefield, which is entirely on you if youre making this argument in an Mi28NM thread where the missiles available give you plenty of range to literally outreach both regular and VJTF puma. Let alone LDIRCM protecting from spikes.

super overpowered
looks inside
barely in functional state

True, but IRIS T is already by far the most overpowered SPAA in the entire game, we don’t need it even stronger for balance sake, CAS has to have a place in the game, planes are mainly used now in toptier to hunt helicopters, since approaching the battlefield with 3 SPAA-main players is impossible

I’m seeing the IRIS T having close to a 40% success ratio against the DIRCM of the MI28, specially when launching 3 or 4 missiles, can’t say it about the other helis since i haven’t played them yet, but the fact that MI28NM Dircm is weaker than the others is a fact carved on the spiritual stone of the foundations of modern combat

at least one thing the eurofighter is likely the best at currently, since brimstones dont care about DIRCM

we dont, but i want the one we have in game to be acurate.
DIRCM should only work against a certain number of approaching targets as well, and not all in range

IT LITERALLY HAS. It still has place in the game, CAS is literally no less busted than it was. Hell it became even more so, what are you smoking.
Only thing that changed is that SLM acts now as a filter between people that used CAS as “press spacebar for 6-8 free kills” and people that can actually play CAS.

Those that can can literally still do extremely well in matches even with constant SPAA uptime on enemy team. And the “super overpowered SPAAs” youre throwing around can all be countered by being smart, not flying in a straight line and in case of SLM completely spoofing its Datalink.

source?

its not weaker, it has less coverage and UNLESS GAIJIN HAS FIXED IT YET the coverage goes into upward hemisphere covering places where it shouldnt so kinda funny since it overperforms its actual coverage.

Source: Empirical experience, like me grinding the event with the MI28NM, along with some friends too that enjoy playing helis, IRIS T when shooting 2 or 3 missiles, one of them will get you, the most reliable way of avoiding this “bypass” is flying to one of the sides, maintaining an angle of between 30 degrees to 60 degrees towards the incoming IRIS T, this greatly reduces the chances of “bypass” to around 10%

All DIRCM are somewhat similar in “strenght”, so less coverage is being weaker in this case

You’d still need to rearm three times instead of only once to make AAs spend all 32 missiles they have access to. That’s easily 20-30s extra you need to spend idling for the same result.

Things get progressively worse if you’re dealing with more than one AA, which isn’t uncommon as they’re dirt cheap SP wise and are widely accessible. Saturating the air with missiles is an undeniable advantage JAGMs have.

Okay, that’s why you can send double the amount per target while at the same time making life harder for AAs.

for anyone who should teach people how to play heli you should probably be the last person people should listen to send double? I guess he already knew that and it still having like 40 percent chance killing MBT LMUR just one per tank easy.

You only need to understand basic math to see that I’m right.

I hope that you have a source other than trust me bro.

I understand that about heli i know more than you and i’m pretty sure about it (and he does too)

what bout you? ofc not when you don’t even have any top heli yourself
anyone knows other FnF have piss poor damage compared to LMUR thanks to Gaijin incompetent that think HEAT (especially Tandem one) do little damage against tank after penetration that what need to fix not just “Oh just sent double” it didn’t solve problem.

Russian and the USA were the last people to get FnF AGMs… but it’s okay, for literal years PARS existed.

Sounds like a lot of hypocrisy.
