It’s well known within the community how awful the non-American F-84Fs are in the game.
Basically useless aircraft that cannot at all compete without the air spawn that the American one has which leaves all non-American ones as nothing but a hill for you waste RP on till you can get the thing after it.
The addition of the Marut only highlights these problems even more as the Marut does get it’s air spawn despite it having better overall performance than the F-84F.
I am NOT saying the Marut needs to lose its air spawn to balance it. I AM saying the F-84F needs to gain an air spawn to all non-American ones to make them viable.
Why does a vehicle with much better performances get to have and air spawn while one that is much worse does not.
I even recorded videos of a SPADED F-84F taking off compared to a STOCK Marut and the spaded Thunderstreak had much worse takeoff performance from a runway. They both took off with minimal fuel, no weapons, and no flaps, testing to time to reach 200mph. The stock Marut was able to take off much sooner and faster than the F-84F. I know the first thing people will point out will be “Well that’s why the Marut is a higher BR” which yes, that makes sense. What doesn’t make sense is why a vehicle with worse spaded performance, in the same vehicle class, and a lower BR, doesn’t get an air spawn for the majority of the trees it is in.
The only reason the American one is viable is because of its air spawn allowing it to get to a base or AI ground before something at the same or even a lower BR comes by and just annihilates it instantly.
A problem I ran into while playing a non-US one was flying over my own teams bases and a US F-84F with an air spawn is able to bomb the base and shred me with so much more energy because it got an air spawn and I didn’t.
Giving all non-US F-84Fs an air spawn would be a change that would make using them so much less painful and unfair. This is something that the community has been wanting for ages as it makes no sense to keep most of them without and air spawn and forces unnecessary suffering for simply playing a certain tree. Ignoring all other problems with it and requesting it to be lower in BR, simply keeping at the same BR and giving every single one an air spawn would be an amazing thing for the aircraft.
Again, I am NOT saying the Marut needs to be changed in any way.
I am just saying the addition of the Marut shows a massive discrepancy in logic and consistency with how aircraft are treated.
The Marut should absolutely have its air spawn and it makes sense that it does, just as giving all F-84Fs an air spawn would also make sense and needs to be done.
