Losing it as we speak
Hi @TrickZZter . I don’t want to push for a putsch or anything like that.
However, I find it very stupid of you guys that you consider 1 source, even from a respected GIAT engineer, be better than 13 sources including video evidences. Especially when it’s about something as easily seen on video as reload rate.
We can obviously expect that some informations given by Marc Chassillan to be wrong, by mistake or to respect some NDA. I have a lot of respect for that guy, but I find it strange that you take everything he says at face value, especially when we give you such overwhelming evidence (including 3 videos). Just look at the fact that he says 6 shots a minute when moving. That has to be incorrect…
And I am even more annoyed considering the M1 are getting a 5s reload, which is stupid considering the balancing of the game. There’s not a single day where anyone playing both the Leclerc and the M1 would consider that the M1 needed a reload buff more than the Leclerc.
EDIT : also, if you consider the numbers on this page to be reliable, be ready to give the Leclerc +18 degrees in elevation, which you still have not done.
We are getting shit on
Leclerc remains the 4th fastest reloading [without spending GE] tank at top BR instead of the 3rd.
I’d prefer its armor corrected, as per my early posts in this topic.
Expect that many tanks can reach that value with crew skills, including the 2A7 which is sharing the best MBT rank with the T90M. And their spall liner makes them extremely likely to keep that reload rate even after being penetrsted
If you read my entire post you’d see the brackets [without spending GE].
And spall liners will come to more tanks.
You don’t need to spend GE for ace crew
Frankly, it’s ridiculous. A video showing the Leclerc firing non-stop is better proof than even an expert’s words. The evidence is there for everyone to see. Fortunately, Marc Chassillian didn’t say it reloaded in 7 seconds…
And here it comes the fun
This part is from the same Author, he does says the armor got improved overall while retaining the same book, which obviously can’t be used as a source because it does not have number according to Gaijin standards. So, since they trust this Author that much because the armor is not better on it excluding the block on the gunner section?
Autoloader section, from the same Author,
Does not talk minimally about the reload time, so at the end its just a number at the end of the book, so why this dismissed all the 10+3 sources sent?
Devs hard at work making sure the Leclerc stays the weakiest Top tier MBT.
leclerc is worst 11.7 mbt
need new APFSDS and reload speed buff
Ariete, Merkava*
The ariete and merkava at least have better firepower and LWS.
and not explode fuel tank
The only reason the Leclerc has a high win rate is because the only players who bother playing the bloody thing are the best players, it’s too painful for other players. It doesn’t have the reloading speed it should have (6s is probably loading the round the farthest in the auto loader + gunner response time and not the value it should be unless you’re switching round type), it doesn’t have the right armor (it has the prototype version and the XXI doesn’t even have the titanium inserts making the Leclerc a light tank that doesn’t benefit from no armor best armor), the fuel tanks are worst than Russian auto loaders (even a piece of shrapnel can set off the fuel tanks), mobility is fine but it doesn’t have the engine response time and strength provided by the hyperbar it should have and it’s not as fast as tanks like the Type10, its round is old and has barely 600mm pen compared to the nice 650mm pen German rounds, the azur kit should resist 30mm rounds like the side of the turret (it’s not ERA its armored NERA blocks), no spall liners…should I keep going?
I mean, Gaijin, come on… But sure! give the abrams a 5s reload time and the t-90m the best armor in game.
Abrams 120mm just got a 5 second reload meanwhile the autoloader for the leclerc’s is crying in the corner wtf lol
Bit like the photos being used to show the challenger 3 doesn’t have a spall liner installed… Meanwhile in the same photos the coax gun isn’t installed so the photo’s should be dismissed tbh because it’s clearly not in a combat loadout.
Video for the Leclerc reload speed? Nooooo, it has to be speculation! Here’s a number from an engineer in a book that, btw, contradicts our other decisions concerning armor, mobility (hyperbar)…
