Ye ye but where did you find that ? Official ? Next paatch ?
it would be nice if they remembered the Italians by buffing them every now and then, and not just remembering to fix the weight of the tank by nerfing it.

So it isn’t live yet, but it will come live in the next small patch.
Hell yeah that’s good. Finally a decent turret rotation
Leclercs becomes META; SHARD/DM53 would be a massive surprise.
SHARD isn’t comparable to DM53, it’s only a slight downgrade to DM73.
Only the XLR can use it as well.
It’s a good start, it certainly took them forever.
But it’s only a start still, we can’t go another year or two of waiting for incremental changes.
DM73 is a slight improvement over DM53 (8% or 11-20mm according to in-game formula). We already have Arietes firing fantasy DM53, i don’t see why SXXI or/and AZUR can’t get SHARD.
DM73 is 680-687mm minimum, so SHARD will be 675-680mm minimum.
I’m curious if the spall liner is installed in the real world Leclerc, and if there are any enhancements to the protective properties.
The Leclerc has Spall lining IRL.
Do you have the source that allows you to say this? I’m not questioning what you’re saying, I’m just curious! :)
This is great. Now the Leclercs have at least the top speed out of all MBTs, paired with the Leopards and Abrams and maybe someone else. It’s not enough, but definitely a starter.
We’re never going to have any armour buff, especially not with that Swedish graphic analysis based on the earliest, incomplete Leclerc variants.
SHARD has lower chamber pressures than DM53 tho…
I mean that has to be taken into account right? Can’t we find the exact variant they used in that trial and prove that they are not the same to at least some of the turret variants we have in-game now? That should show the dev’s that there are differences between that trial turret and of the in-game variants of the turret.
It’s built off of the technology that’s being used to develop the new European gun system.
It’s muzzle velocity is also 1,790m/s and weighs 7.3kg.
Yes, and that performance produces less chamber pressure than DM53 for some reason.
I don’t know, I don’t think I have the sources myself. What I can assure you is that the graphic that Smin showed and that they used in order to turn down the report is from the Sweden’s trials, and the Leclerc that took part in those was a rushed out, premature version and riddled with failures. It was the Tranche 1. It had, for example, an overconsumption of fuel, among other problems which were later fixed. Now as for how can we make them understand that that version (S1 I guess) and the rest are different, I don’t know.
