The Leclerc is in dire need of a buff

Oh, and there is a 10 gears in game while irl it has only 5 gears

To my knowledge different types of fuel are not modelled. They are all the same in WT.

Yeah, but in reality diesel can’t expload so it would be cool if it was realised in game, stilll the issue and not only for Leclerc but ok, we can make an exception and say that this is gameplay mechanic

Everyone would scream Russian bias to no tomorrow 😂

Oh god… I just remembered about Leclerc’s spall liners and im getting frustrsted every time im remembering this.
This is so Gaijing thing…
The report about spall liners have been made years ago and it was accepted but guess what, there is still no spall liners on Lecrerc. Bloody hell…
Here is the link

There just isn’t enough info about the Leclerc spall liners to satisfy Gaijin. You need Kh-38MT levels of info to make Gaijin happy. o_o

Give it another 2 years and it will be there. 80% of this bug report system is to give devs an excuse to buff or nerf something. If we want a vehicle good so people buy more premiums? fixed in one day. But if we really don’t care about one vehicle and want it to sit where it is now, let’s accept the bug report and leave it there as is.

the leclerc push to 110kmh irl, still fully stabilized but the crew of the 501 did specify they changed the limiter value, a non modified leclerc would be 72kmh out of the factory

I just named the issue with top speed. Personally i’m satisfied with 72kph, its pretty decent and really enough (one of the fastrst mbt in game) but its still the point for speculation and a see a lot people complaining about wrong top speed while different sites says different values. Some say that Leclerc has 72kph top speed while others ssy 80 kph and then others say 90kph. So, i don’t think we can do something with this one, but this is an issue anyway

If there isn’t enough info then why they accepted it???
They can label it with ‘not enough info’ or something like thst but they just accepted it and thats all. But there is enough soursec if we search proparly and can find information, i guess…

If you don’t do those 10 separated reports, TM aren’t going to bother with it. Reports are for one issue each.
For armor if you want to report 2 different issues it might pass, but reporting both armor and mobility in one report is most likely not

If this will happen than i just gonna make separated reports, not big deal i guess. We’ll see which answer we get

Too many issues in 1 bug report they wont accepted

Ok, fine. If this is to much work for them then make a report by yourselfs about everything and make a separate reports for everything. You can use my report and add your sources if you have, coz if i will make the same report it will be sort of spam… If you realy want to make Leclerc realistic than it isn’t a big problem for you, is it? But if you just want to criticize me about “to much for one report” because im trying to do something then you are just useless and won’t help with Leclerc issues

I agree with you, 72kph is enough. Ultimately, the most disturbing thing about the Leclerc mobility in the game is its mobility when turning on the spot, and its acceleration, which is truly extremely reactive in real life; the tank in the game is rather clumsy.
IMO in game, I don’t think it’s missing much, apart from:

  • its true mobility: turning on the spot + acceleration 0-32kph <6 seconds
  • a simple overhaul of its overall composite armor with its own values against kinetic and chemical shells + spall liner around the crew positions + and this is the most important: protection equivalent to approximately 130mm RHA in two spaced plates (exactly the layout of the ten years older AMX-32 (129mm)) below the actual shaped overhauled composite glacis module that would make up the lower frontal plate. This will finally allow it to withstand head-on fire from most autocannons, something that is sorely lacking for an MBT like the one they’ve modeled. It’s laughable, if not shameful…
  • fuel tanks that don’t explode except when penetrated by shells containing explosives, which is quite rare for this type of tank.

With these three simple things in place, it would be perfectly decent for everyone.

Yeap, i noticed a bad turning and acceleretion too, looks like it is nerfed specificaly for this tank… Also it has nerfed brakes, it has sometimes very strange braking, too long and too far from braking point. (If you see the Leclerc braking irl on the video of it braking and if you know about its braking system you will understand what am i about).
The issue with acceleration can be cozed by 10gears in game (it should be 5 gears) and overall gear shifting in game…
Fuel tanks… They mustn’t be able to explode since the fuel is diesel (it can’t explode) but in game we don’t have this mechanic ( ok, gameplay mechanic, it’s fine), but can just decrise a chance for explosion for a bit for diesel tanks( I guess its will be good decition)
Armor was always an issue for Leclercs in game. It is modoled wrongly and values of armor is wrong too. We know about material of armor, how its works, but we don’t have documents that will be 100% reliable. The problem is, that almost all detailed information with proofes is classiefied…( I think we all know what will happen if someone will get it and show here as a source)
The spall liners needs to be added, it is just unbieliviable that they still din’t add them. With spall liners Leclerc will become much more survivable and competetive( it is now pretty enjoyable, survivable and competetive overall but it would be a good addition)

If we will get everything fixed out of here, then Leclerc will become a realy, I mean REALY good mbt and top tier tank. But im losing hope for this to happene now…(ヽ´ω`)

And don’t forget about better shell (at least OFL 120 F1B or maybe OFL 120 F2 or SHARD) anything out of here would be a great addition and we need this (or atleast fix OFL 120 F1) and then we will be tottaly fine with it

Maybe they’re waiting until they’ve decompressed the BRs into ground forces to make the changes we’re talking about, and putting the Lerclerc like:

  • S1 and S2 in 12.0br with OFL120F1
  • XLT-CLARA in 12.3br with OFL120F1,
  • S21 and AZUR in 12.7br with OFL120F2
  • and finally XLR in 13.0br with SHARD.

It must be kept in mind that there’s a huge difference between a Leo2A5 and a Leo2A7V, yet both at 12.0br, they too will one day be decompressed, and that won’t be a bad thing.
One thing is certain, we can’t know what they have in mind, don’t they care? Are they waiting for the right moment? It’s hard to say.

In reality, the armor capabilities of current tanks are shrouded in secrecy, and we can only speculate based on the technical documents and videos that have been released. Therefore, as a general rule for the game, the Gen3 MBT should be guaranteed protection of +100mm of the tank’s shell penetration, and a convincing differentiation is needed. Even with composite armor enabled, the Leclerc’s camera will still function as a weak spot.

Why would China be the worst nation? They have evolved past the russian slop that is the t90 and onwards.

They even recently made a stride towards a better MBT design by going with an unmanned turret.
