But the turret armour at least can’t be penned as easily. Should be very similar, although many would argue type 90 and Khalid is under tiered.
Much better gun handling, better optics (zoom, fov, thermal gen). Armor isnt “massively superior” tho
Thats the point statistics are not black or white. We know the M1A2 “Clickbait” and the M1A2 AIM are not bad vehicles…But statistically they are underperforming.
While we continue to balance vehicles based on player quality we will always have this problem.
I mean I said that French players should just quit for a month, and then when Gaijing realised they are dropping massively in WR, they might decide to do something about it, French players are too good, since the Leclerc really suck ATM.
France like Britain have a fraction of the players that Germany, Russia, USA and Sweden currently have.
A small drop in British and French players would barely dent the overall player count. The statistics would still show the Leclerc as a great tank (no players using it would equal a 0 change in its statistics)
We see this with the Char 25t at 8.0…Only good players use it, so the statistics do not change.

Maybe ask for a premium, that might help, increases players and adds noobs to play, win rate might get a bit miserable, but yeah.
That is likely one of the solutions. a Premium (UAE) Leclerc may even lead to the much needed armour and fire power changes to the tech tree variants. Regretably the premium OES CR2 did not lead to the multitude of corrections required for the tech tree CR2
Personally I’m taking the “never spend another dime on this game” approach

… What? Both the Leclerc and Type 90 have paper armor and are super easy to one shot.
Also, the Leclerc has much better sights and thermals.

Well they said it was inferior to type 90 if you would track back a few notes and get them down to 11.0, which I simply said it is not fair.
I disagree. Removing the round would kill the lineup the French have at top tier. Since you want the SXXI for sure, I better take a bunch of Leclercs that are just as capable firepower-wise, than to shaft the machines with a less potent round, meaning they become less effective in the full lineup.
That’s why the Leclercs aren’t that terrible. They can punch in their weight class. You only have to play them like they are paper.

If you need more than two MBTs in your lineup, you need to either get better at the game or reevaluate how you allocate crew slots.
Bug/historical reporters definitely deserve all the respect.
What’s annoying from my perspective is they can have an OFL 120 G1 Leclerc prototype for 10.7 and it’d at least be the start of that lineup.
USA having standard M1A1 0.7BRs lower than the first Leclercs is wild as well, granted Leclerc’s hull can be fixed, M1A1 is stuck with it.

Did you look at the french tree ? There is nothing else at top tier, between 9.7 and 12.0 there is only void.
Sure if you have grinded air you also have cas and if you took time you can have a good heli but no light tank only a spaa.
Ground players would end up with 4 leclerc and 1 ito because there is just no other options.
Maybe mephisto too but i don’t see anyone using it at this br.

It takes courage to play MEPHISTO in 11.7/12.0, the missile is a simple charge that does almost no damage to this BR. (I tried and frankly it’s not fun)
The only tank I could see at this Br would be the Vextra 105 (and even then it’s rather rare to see one)

I don’t know for me it goes well, even russian tank by shooting their era part stupidly get anhilated it’s funny.
(as i understood pen should normally be higher than that and if it used hot 3 it would leave no chance to tank that don’t have the era to defeat tandem missile)
