Yep ridiculous, CR3 also the only tank using DM53 and the L55 gun to not get a 5 second reload…

none of the l55 have a 5s reload… the arietes and merkavas use an l44, only the leopard 2a6/7 and the challenger 3 use the l55.
Ok my mistake. I’m not sure having a longer gun changes the breach? Is it harder to load? Does the turret space shrink?
No it’s for balancing and currently the C3TD is one of the worse top tier tanks
it doesnt, reload rate is purely a balancing measurement, the ariete and merkava got this buff because they were the worst tanks at this br by far, btw stay on topic this is a leclerc thread, there is one for the challenger you can complain there or in the devblog for the br changes.
You challenged it, i stated the CR3 also ate poo like the Leclercs im massively aware of the CR page. It has over 10k replies.

I saw in the recent BR changes that the M1A1 HC is being moved up to 11.7 with M829A2 whilst the M1A2s will sit at 12.0. Now my understanding is that these tanks are virtually identical with the only difference being that M1A2s have a higher thermal generation and a CITV. Based on this logic, would the devs therefore consider moving the Leclerc SXXI to 12.0 and leaving the rest of them at 11.7 given that the SXXI receives its historically accurate thermals?
This would also solve the dev’s (self-inflicted) dilemma of not being able to add a Leclerc premium, no?

We don’t know what they’re planning for next major update.
Ammo and reload speed is easily done outside major updates, while more complicated changes are usually major updates only… of course if they’re cooking something.
There’s a few open issues still.
Leclercs are just an M1A1 [11.3 with the changes] right now in effectiveness, which is sad.

Really not sure why it went up in BR when the nearest contender for worst MBT was Ariete. And they buffed Ariete to the same reload, which was the most significant disadvantage compared to Leclerc.
I like how it takes how many years of asking for Leclercs reload to be 5s?. After Gaijin finally relent, then they immediately hand out 5s reload to Arietes and Merks.

Probably should have known this was going to happen. They fought to give the 5s only to Abrams instead of Leclerc, when the information they used was pulled from a Leclerc report.

Well Merkavas and Arietes are in a much worse state than any of Leclercs to be fair
And instead of fixing Merkava’s armor and adding Spall Liners they decided to increase ROF, just like how they ignored Abrams issues.
This company is something else…
They started ignoring these top tier tanks issues around Type 10 addition if the memory serves me well. Everything after that (including Type 10 itself) has been highly neglected when it comes to bug reports and accurate implementation. It all comes down to fitting the meta and keeping supposed balance between vehicles now.

ZTZ99A recently had a few bug reports fixed, although the model change ended up being a massive stealth nerf… I have lost hope in this report system a bit.
my dearest type 10 its so fun cuz you can actually do a 1 man team due to its reload rate, too bad it has so much lacks in terms of performance and armor specially with the external material being wrong and the thing having random holes in the armor modules, but anyways this is the leclerc thread im not going further from that cope rant

my biggest problem with type 10 is handling and acceleration
handling its specially bad since for some reason turning its not its best while on the move and the acceleration its also pretty bad for its weight range
you lose all your speed with turns and even slight turn inputs can flip your whole tank around
