i mean, an entire team of heavy tanks. even with a 45mm, its the hull of the zis-5, with a 75mm all around turret. wtf is gaijin thinking here lol. half of the tanks at br 3.7 aint even got 100mm worth of pen on their guns.

not even half, pretty much every 3.7 outside of a rare few can even deal with kv8s, and this is before we bring up angling, which makes them completely immune to 3.7s entirely. pretty much the only thing that can reliable deal with kv8s frontally (because when you have this many heavies, not a single heavy is gonna be alone) are 4.0 glass cannons, and 4.3 tanks.
i have a feeling the reason why gaijin wanted to nerf the ikv103 is to limit how many vehicles that could hard counter kv8s

This, especially considering the just moved up a bunch of vehicles around this br, essentially making this thing a 3.3 vehicle. One good counter I’ve found is the German KV 2, but even that thing’s HE is surprisingly unreliable against the KV 8, not the KV 1 L11 though, VERY INTERESTING!

2.7 armour? The armour is 4.3 quality, the only problem is the drivers hatch which doesn’t really matter since you fight new players. Also it’s pretty much unkillable when angled. The gun is also bad but not terrible since panzer IV’s are very easy to kill, and it can go through Shermans from the side

Maybe 4.3 light tank quality. The KV-8 can be front penned by a pretty large portion of rank 1s. Atleast the M4A3 (105) can hold off a short U.S. 75mm frontally.
Again, only the drivers hatch. And you can’t get penned when angled by pretty much anything

I do not understand, you show its performing well and you want it lower? it maybe needs to go higher.

What? do you mean the pixel spots in the turret, that even if you manage to pull a shot there the bullet will be so shattered it will do little damage??
Even so, just angling a little its enough to be invincible.
And about the driver hatch area, its a yellow pen possibility, that if pens, will get the mg gunner and driver

No, definitely 2.7 armor
