The Ki83 is a terrible aircraft, it needs to get buffed or moved down to 5.7

What? You can leterally boom and zoom from above almost anything at that BR into obliovion.

Why the hell would you try to go with ki-83 700 in a straight line that’s just wasting your energy.

No it does not stop lying.

Than you are fighting Ki-83 that has skill issue.

I never said it’s “so good”, i just mean it’s not completely helpless, but it is not a great plane. I think it should get high octane fuel (if the Ki-84 can get high octane performance then why not) and the overheating issue to be reduced and it would be like a Hornet that is a bit slower but climbs better.

I agree, with American fuel it was able to achieve speeds of 473mph (762km/h) at 7000m.

The whole point of War thunder is to accurately protray the vehicle at their peak.

It’s odd only the Ki-84 is represented in peak conditions, both the N1k2’s and j2m’s are heavily underperforming because they are using average data from bad fuel and bad engines, even Japanese sources for peak performance on the n1k2 and j2m have faster speeds than in game

Almost everything that is Japanese is never portrayed as it should. A lot of shell types are worse than they should be; reverse speed is a guess-who-says-what; and, generally speaking. A lot of aircraft are still missing bomb ordinance options, which are defined as “Not a bug”.

Not just Japan, but I see alot of turn fighters higher than they should be; Exp. Ki-61-1, re 2005, a6m, n1k, and probably a bunch more

3 of those are Japanese.

yea, i forgot the names of the rest, i 16 i believe is one thats not japan
edit, g56 is too high(not really a turnfighter tho)

Now, if only Gaijin gave it to us. Also, the I-16 Japan captured was Mongolian, for anyone curious, but that said.

Ki-83 isn’t “terrible,” but it is over-tiered.
