The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

Because whoever made the video is stupid, should we talk about Su-39 still being in modern brochures?

you are dodging instead of admiting you might be wrong

No he’s not stupid
GNSS is a trivial thing these days, and they just don’t make mention of it

For MKE they mention it because it has no other guidance method, GNSS is the main guidance method … I.e. It needs GNSS …
I.e. no GNSS signal = failure to hit target

For other variants, GNSS just assists in eliminating the INS drift …
I.e. no GNSS signal = the missile can still be used (though the capabilities will be a bit limited)

accuracy at range would be the main loss right?

For example in a long range say 70km shot with SALH variant (which also implies illumination by another air or ground based platform), without GNSS the INS might drift enough that when the missile reaches the seeker range the seeker might not even be pointing in the right direction to look for the laser pointer …

Also in general, in case of losing the target in the terminal phase, you would have to rely on the INS, and having GNSS to correct for INS drift would improve your accuracy …

So since they don’t mention MTE at all we can assume it doesn’t exist!

The video is literally titled “Kh-38MLE”

same as 7000 messages before. No real evidence, lots of grasping at straws

Your claim that the “40km range is for older IOG-only variant and the addition of GNSS in the new variants enabled the 70km range” is false

And you posted the proof of it being false yourself …

If the 40km range is due to “lack of GNSS in the older variants”, then why the GNSS guided MKE variant is also limited to 40km?

More photos of the MLE on display, but no MT/MTE.

I’ve looked everywhere for a better photo of the display show casing the signs, but could not find one.

Best thing I could find was this, but even then its hard to read.

They are show casing Su-57 weapons

The only thing this proves is that the Su-57 is not compatible with it …
Which for example could be due to lack of necessary cooling equipment …

su57 still has wing pylons doesnt it? offtopic su30 with brahmos looks sick

yeah i want to know what went through their haeads when they tried to mount that thing to a jet

I do wonder if gaijin will ever add the indian Su30MKI

it does and was already seen with the KH-31 mounted to it

and it is apperently able to also mount the r-73 on it

not anytime sonn, i would guess that if they add it, it will be a premium for like 100$
