well, you can compare it to a certain extend to the F-16aj imo, or the E100 as a better example

That thing probably has more realistic parts than what F-16A under Japan has.
Good luck killing a plane at 9-10km with 10.7 AAs.

i dont think most A-10 players just sit 10km away from the battlefield
something that a certain nation can do
you dont have to because the plane cant engage you from more than like 5km because of how bad the 65d optics are

Was thinking that I have never ever had an issue with shooting down the A-10s in the Stormer HVM and that thing maxes out at about 6km

that is ~8km out and from an angle where it is more apparent
there is no way you would be able to tell if something is a wreck or not at 10km
and it would be extremely hard to find the AA if I didnt have a real targeting pod or a marker over it
and before you say something stupid that is not behind the trees, it is just that low of a magnification

Vehicle is outlined perfectly fine in that picture.
CAS in this game is pretty handheld so they get all the marks made by ground units shown.
Doesn’t take much effort to find them in a 400m diameter circle around their spawn.

or do you throw an agm at every heat signature you see and waste most of them on wrecks

no the F-16 that was demonstrated to japan was toataly different from what we have ingame

For some reason gaijin gave CAS access to ground map, and then allowed them to click on it to set a target point so its even more braindead to find spawns or marked vehicles.
