I’ve had mixed experience. With low angle impacts generally being a little hit and miss. But more top down attacks producing slightly more reliable results.
But with the poor state of top tier GRB in general, I’ve barely used either the Gr4 or Typhoon in GRB and generally play no higher than 10.3 these days. Though with the upcoming changes, 11.7 might be quite promising for consistent downtiers. Though unfortunately the Gr4 still isn’t an option
I’ve not really had a good time with them. They’re slow, (from my experience) the damage is inconsistent, and having to hold a lock for a consistent hit keeps you vulnerable to SPAA or other aircraft. I mostly stick to the AGM 65s on the SAAF JAS39C and occasionally use the Harrier GR.7. The Tornado GR.4 isn’t worth me getting or using in GRB (Typhoon is just a better platform), and even still I’ve had better results with the mavericks (Both IR and laser)
two weeks later, there’s been nearly 5000 messages in this thread (if we include deleted and flagged messages) ,still no response from any higher up let alone proof of this missile being real or what source/sources the snail apparently used to make this missile.
Im genuinely curious at this point what gaijins forum PR team is planning on doing about this thread.
This missile is HATED by 85%+ of the playerbase so ought to be addressed on that, and the questionability about if its even real needs formal addressing even more.
Note even tech mods have said aye in favour of removing this missile based on the lack of proof of realism. this is a bad situation
I wouldn’t normally have a problem with AGMs if the KH-38MTs had a counter. Mavericks aren’t nearly as consistent or effective and its incredibly easy for russian players to repeatedly wipe teams of players. Anti-Cas is possible, but again the Su-34 and Su-30SM are very capable BVR and WVR platforms
EDIT: My point is, other nations should have just as good missiles or remove the KH-38MT altogether. I don’t exactly want a game where the match is over in 5 minutes because 1 player can spawn 1 jet and wipe out a lobby. I think everyone should get a pretty even playing field, and at the moment france and russia have by far the best CAS, while russian tanks also have multiple game physics and lack of additions in their favour
there is about enough proof about russian era being able to stop western anti era apfsds as there is about the reverse
its all unknown.
but I still think that a multistage apfsds would win against some explosive box

same here, if we had mode 2 brimstones, JAGM prototype or similar in other nations id have less issues with it as the books would be balanced in the air (excluding SPAA)
as soon as a SU gets in the air with these things the game is over from how cracked it is. its just a shame
Nah su34 (which already is stupidly op) is crap but adding su30 WITH kh38 which is the best AGM that broke balance to an completely absurd level. Its just too much
Su30 is very capable and perfect for small maps like grb would be fine if it didnt get kh38 but ffs gayjin said “nah ruzzia is bed, ruzzia ned more cas”

yes. We either need a tank only gamemode or equivalents to KH-38MTs (or their removal). Every other nation is on a pretty even playing field CAS wise (apart from france). Tanks themselves need a rework (Challengers, Merkavas and Arietes). What annoys me if you fight russia at top tier, its pretty much a guaranteed loss. Ka-50/52s are also the best attack helicopters, which is fun. So we’re at a crossroads.
ive been in a match with smin too. have with surbaissemaxxing and gunjob too. Unfortunatley for us smin is just a gaijin mouthpiece on social media (excluding walled off discord servers) and the TMs + FMs are all not developers. if they had more of a say a lot more community feedback would actually get through to the devs.

true, he has like 2250 vehicles. anyway we’re getting off topic. In my personal opinion, the 38MT should be removed, the 38ML is fine and any 29 or 25 variants, whatever. CAS should be an even playing field, and when britain got access to the brimstones, they have to have their kneecaps broken. Its the double standard that annoys me.
if devs play the game and play US they would 100% delete the game
US air is one of the most hand hold tech trees in the game
