38MT is basically a copy of 38ML which is being used in real life, so you definitely have much more to go off of than you have when claiming alien ships in Area 51 are real.

but if they did the “average joe” google search, then they are in no ability to prove the missile exists either, and they’ll have to admit they added the missile on assumptions, it wouldn’t be the first time (manpads thread, anyone ?)
As for the IIR seeker integration, it’s a bit more complicated than just sticking a new seeker. “It’s possible the missiles exists” is not enough, because as i said earlier, anyone could claim anything with this logic

I say “ok, where do you have the evidence that it does exist? you are claiming it exists so wheres the evidence”

I dont know how else to illustrate this. You saying “the ball is in your court” means absolutely fuck all, it doesnt shift the burden of proof, it doesnt prove anything other than you really not understanding what im telling you.
A) it being a copy of ML with completely different seeker head is saying something like “apples are just like footballs in that they are round shaped” and B) i dont know what other Kh series you are refering to as the vast majority of other Kh series dont use IR but contrast seekers
You can also prove that something like that didnt exist by the lack of proof that it does exist. And remember, something you seem to not get. Even if (playing devils advocate here) the 38MT does in fact exist but its existence (and by proximity stats) are classified, that also means that it should not be in warthunder. Same reasoning why gaijin cant use classified informations to change/fix other vehicles.
If you genuinely dont get it after this explanation, im just honestly going to stop trying to explain it to you because its pointless

in both cases, you can’t definitely prove the subject exists. “much more to go off” is not a thing in the research field when trying to prove something.
It can be enough to be a hint and build up a theory on that hint, but it is in no way enough for a proof

You all seem to forgett we are playing a video game here and not something which will change history or change life or death. Everybody gets way too emotional when the other gets the best toy for the current patch and is quiet when they get it in the next one.

I don’t claim it does exist, i say i think it’s possibe it does.
Is that enough to have it in game ? I don’t really care. It’s here, it was very cancer, now it’s gotten better and it’s not that big of a deal anymore.
5 consecutive patches at this point.
As for “just a game” argument, it’s just a generic one once the rest is depleted tbh. Yes is a game, yes it’s not life or death, i’m aware, but a game is meant to be fun, and those things are ruining it for quite a large majority of players at top tier, as the polls seems to indicate
