The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

I mean seen that recently sudo made a bunch of reports about the mave using the av8b manual they are probably overall bufs from what i have read and pretty much all got accepted.

Can you show us some of your gameplay? either footage or replays. Super interested to see how you make it work.

TNT is gonna be 3kg less
pbx-10sth i forgot is like 1.25x the explosive power of TNT

well know on June 7th

The heavy warhead Mavs already got a PBX type explosive and in-game they all share the same 1.28 TNTe, so in the end this will just be a decrease in explosive. Unless this certain PBX has better performance, but I haven’t looked into it.

Guess he’s immune to the 18km death bubble.

There wasnt even any info on the seeker beyond “its IR, trust me bro” until the Zhuhai 2024 brochure, and even with the brochure, its unclear if that could lead to a nerf (atleast to me)

To be fare to him, Tripod is the one who is versed in the advanced concepts of IR seekers and hes the one that says that it would be unlikely able to lock ground targets at the ranges it currently can. It wouldnt surprise me if the seeker was adapted from the KH-59M2s ir version which is an AShM for high jamming environments.

pbx-108 is 1.14x better than pentolite
which is the comparison material to test explosive power of PBX-108
pentolite is ~1.12x better than TNT
so id say its a slight nerf

Oh no, Pantsir is up.
Better not forget to press and hold a key to defeat it at basically any range.

That’s pretty straightforward considering you are up against a 18km death bubble machine.

I’ll show that 18 km sphere of death what it deserves

Sure, but now there’s perhaps enough evidence to get it fixed. Gotta be worth a shot.

Please do fly high and guide a Brimstone at that Pantsir like you could if it was a Kh-38…

He will dodge the question and come up with some convenient excuse or admit that the only viable strategy for Brimstones is to hit the deck (because Pantsir sphere of death :P), pop out from the horizon when you are 6 or 5 kilometers away from a Pantsir and fire brimstones at it.

Honestly yeah, Brimstones real effective range is less than 5 kilometers, you can guide them from far away, but that’s simple not possible when a Pantsir has you locked or a Fox 3 is coming your way.

With the new update coming, Brimstones are going to be completely irrelevant and off meta. Hopefully forcing Gaijin to reconsider giving them some FnF capabilities, even if limited. Or better yet, decompressing top tier. If the EF is 13.0 then planes like the Su-30/34 are 15.0 so it’s Pantsir and the new AA’s coming.

its also significantly more demanding as you gotta remember to shut off and restart the laser

Or just come to 5-6km, lock it up, fire and hold a key down.

We needed better AAs long time ago and this is yet another proof.

Buildings and trees exist, Brimstones IOG is none existent and unless you are close they miss and do no splash damage.

Best way to use them is to ignore everything in your first pass then come back from behind the SAMs or an offset angle pitch up and launch the Brimstones then when you get to 3-5km from the location pop up lock quickly and lase. Hoping your missiles hit the target otherwise you are dead.

Well we have them and based on the Devs blog it isn’t going to make a difference to the Kh-38 spammers
but the aircraft that need to get closer (Brimstone)
