YaK-141 at least flew and exists IRL, unlike the F-16AJ.
I think Kh-38, Ostwind 2 and Zeroster should be removed if they are not real. Same with HEVT on beglietpanzer.
Also a mockup really isn’t enough to base a whole vehicle off of, that’s sort of the whole idea of this thread

Unlike Yak-141, the F-16AJ in-game is not even the same as in the Brochure - as such, I agree its fictional but also agree F-16AJ never existed in any form except a marketing paper.

Despite the fact that the Yak-141 did not reach mass production and was not put into service, flight prototypes already achieved high performance characteristics during tests - the aircraft even set several records. However, the available flight models did not carry military weapons, but only their mock-ups. Some of the sensors, including the radar, according to our information, were replaced during testing with such mock-ups, IRST was also not installed on the prototypes. The game, however, requires a combat aircraft with a complete set of on-board equipment and weapons, so we implemented them in the form in which the aircraft would most likely be put into service. For the game model, we installed a radar that was planned and existed at that time, as well as the IRST, standard for Soviet fighters. The Yak-141 is also equipped with countermeasures containers that are installed similar to other Soviet aircraft layout. *** We understand that in some ways this is a “paper” aircraft, however, all of its avionics actually existed and worked, as well as weapons.*** Regarding the R-73 missiles, their software implementation is still in progress, so it’s too early to talk about its introduction to the game, but in the future it may well appear in the Yak-141, same as the R-77 missiles, which were also designed as the main armament of this aircraft.*

I have complaints about Pantsir, because this SAM can intercept missiles. And I don’t like playing on the old Phantom of the 60s against the SAM from the future 2012. This SAM should be poisoned along with the Su-30 and SU-34 on 13.0. So that players on 11.7 do not encounter it.

Currently for top tier Japan I use the F-15MJ (F-15J(M)) and F-16AJ, I usually take out if I have a team mate who can reliably spot the pantsir for me ahead of time so I can at least make a move before getting hit from who knows where
it would be nice if the AJ got lowered to 11.7 but only fire x2 mavericks however it’s upto gaijins will

if the Yak-141 can get the “this is a paper aircraft” treatment, The F-16AJ should get the same else it’ll be a clear double standard
at least if gaijin corrected it to be that of the brochure then we can move on from there but again - It’s upto gaijin’s hand
You see, even you understand that this F-16AJ is simply useless, you need a friend who will show you where the Pantsir is and so that you with your blind first Mavericks without a terrible thermal imaging and zoom, could somehow sneak up on it and somehow hit it. While the player with the X-38 does not need a friend who will help him find the ADATS in order to hit it.

the AJ is a paper aircraft as being on a brochure so leanway for it should be considered
Imagine if the A-10A Late and ADATS were set to 8.0 and the A-10 would destroy all living things below without any danger and not a single SAM would be able to even get close to them.
Usually you dont need if ur aware of key points on the map, It’s not useless at all.
Suboptimal? yes absolutely
I think gaijin should consider a weapons upgrade or Just operate the F-16A OCU in that case until the F-2A gets implemented

Yak141 is a tech demonstrator even as gaijin themselves said “paper aircraft”
so if AJ gets removed for being on paper the 141 should also else its clear national bias and double standards
(given Kh-38MT got added with no real proof of its abilities (the thread name) but refuses the GCS-1 IR guided bomb for “no proof it can track tanks” despite ignoring all proof it can)
