Well , to be or not to be that is the question? Leave it in game but limit it to one aircraft for balance issues.
It isn’t the only IR + IOG weapon so it definitely has it’s equals. That is if you don’t think all of them should perform absolutely the same in order to achieve the balance.
AJ is a fictional plane that’s still in the game, while other vehicles get rejected because they lack evidence or are fictional themselves. It’s an obvious double standard and community should’ve been mad long time ago.

what was the alternative? im fine with a historically dubious aircraft if its not something meta defining if the alternative is nothing replacing it.
f16aj is just a clown that was added to fill the gap in Japan’s top aviation. Japan even has 5th generation aircraft, they could have introduced them, but the Gaijin decided to make a compromise. In addition, Japan has the F-15J, which is better than the 16th.
Besides, the F-16AJ is a very mediocre aircraft with useless sparrows and ridiculous AIM-9. I don’t understand why it is needed at all?

such a disengenuos response, its 2.5x the speed of equals, does more or equal demage depending wether you compare it to aasm or agm65, and it outranges both.
then you got the f16aj which is just an f16 like any other 12.7 f16.

at the time it filled in the role as top tier cas for japan, its essentially a F-16A ADF but its a block10 flight model with block15 weaponry as well
if F-2A comes in the next update it would make sense to remove it as japan would have a new viable cas option for top tier

In this case with the implementation of Kh-38MT despite no proof of its existance other than a mockup, it might have been a temporary addition till something better comes on however USSR’s ATG missiles already have a very good lineup

most if not all of what you just named are premiums (by memory). US is a decently easy tree to complete imo, decent vehicles at every rank. However, US teams suffer from their players and I don’t think it was the best air tree before the EF and rafale, I’d argue Italy (for top tier) or China (overall) was.
What are you talking about? He has 6 broken Mavericks “B” with a lock range of 6 km. They don’t even have a thermal imager. This plane is absolutely useless. It should be removed from the game because it is so weak. And you compare this to the X-38MT?
Until the gaijin were broken by the Sparrows and AIM-9.
