The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

Not exactly. Laser was used to include man in the loop, so the missile does not choose the target itself, but it can be directed to a specific one in a cluttered enviroment. Failsafe so the missile does not impact a random civilian home(example made up by me, any relation ot real life events coincidential).

I mostly play top tier russia in air, probably only spawned the su34 like a dozen times in grb. Russian tanks arent exactly fun in postage stamp maps where the meta is hill peaking or hiding behind a building abusing 3rd person camera with their poor gun handling, depression, and reverse.

And when you spawn 2km up 15km away with gen 3 thermals every map basically is an open field. What actually stops you from doing this is clouds.

You could also just engage with ideas instead of trying to stat shame, I get checking to see if people even bother to play what they claim to but come on…

Also ground kills count things like killing AI in ARB, so even if someome has like 500 ground “kills” how are you going to tell if it was players or ai or even what game mode?

And it wasnt me that flagged your post, people on this forum are brain damaged and flag everything. Half my posts get flagged for saying a cussword or something. Soft mfers.

The laser was primarily added to enable the Brimstone to be used against targets other than vehicles. Like infantry and buildings. Which enabled it’s usage as a COIN weapon

If u dont believe me heres translated from russian

They dont even list IR-guidence anymore as op said so this is just stupid to treat outdated website as a “reliable” source

So still no evidence yet again what a shocker

bit of undestatement. theyre ever so slightly better at range than laser guided bombs due to being marginally faster and having more flat trajectory, but due to gimball limit of targeting pods, youre pretty much a sitting duck. not to mention that if you launch them at any longer distance, they still take ages to fly to the target.

not to mention they require a direct hit to do any damage.

Devs when Russia: Hmm there’s a video and a website that’s totally unreliable (adds it)
Devs when any other nation: Give us sekrit documents and we’re going to think about whether to add it or not (they wont).

Too new for gulf war no?

Just out of curiosity, has this near 4000 message post generated any response from a CM or Dev on it? Like is Gaijin making a change or addressong such? Ive popped in at different points but don’t recall seeing anything in their blue box.

This has already been answered:

I’ve also updated the main thread with this info.

Stop wasting ppls time on points that have already been covered please.

Nope. A few tech mods have weighed in on the discussion, as have a few forums mods and game masters, but no official statement from gaijin on the subject. They’ve been radio silent about this.

It also hasnt been touched by any major CC’s. Theres only been a single CC that made a video on it it seems (TEC)

That was my assumption and was curious. And I am not surprised Gaijin themselves have been quiet on it. Bit par for the course.

Maybe they are like asian devs and treat the eng forums like a containment zone and only care about native language forums? Is there any uproar about it on the ru forums? I cant read moon runes.

You cant post pics from the war m8, even photoshoped

Do not create photoshopped images, as they can be very misleading, even if that’s not the intention. This is also from the conflict

How so?

Wait. Its from war? Ah, too bad. It took me 30 minutes to do it.

If theres a perfect summarization for this thread, its has to be this.

It appeared around 11 months ago, being reported to be used you know where. I will not talk about this further

But I must say it was fun to photoshop it. Next time I will try make RDS-4 with Kh-29T guidance.
