The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

It’s hard to make the interns there write some code. It’s easier to Ctrl+c, Ctrl+v

Current matchmaking puts germany and russia like 8/10 times and it stupid to say that i get killed by brimstones more often

With last week or even 2 weeks i can confidently say i can count my deaths to brimestone with one hand. Heck even with no hands at all

The launch platform has a radar that happens to be bigger than a dinner plate. MTI allows for detection of moving targets but not precise targeting. The Brimstone flies towards the target based on that information using INS and gets a radar lock on terminal approach. The AGM-114L works largely the same way, relying on LOAL for stationary or longer range targets that have a weak/no return signal while the missile is still on the rail.

and I’d confidently argue that German mains doing well in the Typhoon is more because they’ve had to make the Tornado ASSTA1 work for the last 2 years with no alternative and now they have an airframe with an excellent FM to drop basically the same weapons as before.

Typhoons radar can detect stationary targets as well using SAR

I have literally NEVER died to a brimstone. Ive died to KH38MT so often that id need to borrow digits from a millipede to count them all

My best game in GSB in the typhoon I got about 10 kills (I was totally uncontested) 8 of them were with the PW4. I had multiple times where brimstone did no damage

So why cant we have this as a sort of stand in FnF function then without the LOAL?,

I mean the thread is debating wether or not one of the best anti-tank guided missile is even real never mind functional.

Tornado trained me to play mindfully. Tbh the past 2 years of Tornado gaming felt like I was being taught by an ancient chinese martial arts master from a rural village from central Huázhōng.

I had so much fun strafing pantsirs in level flight with gunpods. KWS wasn’t quite bad actually…

that exist for four thousand years.

actually got proof of that or just gonna claim that with no evidence, (dont forget it has IOG meaning in mode two the seeker wouldnt turn on until its reached the right range what does that remind you off? maybe how IR missiles work?)

Because it still requires the missile to lock on to the target after launch, it cruises to the target without a lock for most of its flight path using its INS and targeting data of the lauch platform. The entire point of this discussion and example was that the Brimstone can’t possibly work at relevant ranges unless you give it its LOAL capability. If that’s for locking a pre programmed target or searching for targets in an area doesn’t matter to the missile, it has to lock on to what it is intended to hit in the last couple kilometers of its flight.

And the discussion around the Brimstone started because I wanted to point out the hypocrisy of a poster that wants the KH-38MT removed because it is uncertain if it ever existed and overpowered while at the same time asking for a version of the Brimstone that would either be borderline useless (short range of the onboard radar), made up (giving the onboard radar a range it can’t possibly achieve) or overpowered (LOAL).

I have determined kh-38mt is AI generated, clearly they asked vladGPT to make it up

he never asked for both at the same time? he asked if the KH-38MT isn’t going to be removed then for balance the brimstone and other nations equivalents should be added to the game with FnF

you are also really stuck on the LOAL concept huh? I have a question how do you think mode 2 works because ill give you a hint its probably similar to how current IR weapons work in game where launched past a certain range they aren’t actually tracking the tank and are just heading in that direction. Guess what? IR can just as easily switch targets if a warmer heat source is in its FOV before activation so the whole “but MMV will track the wrong target” can already happen and is just used as an excuses to try and claim the missile is unreliable and shouldn’t be in the game

Except the brimstone doesn’t thave MMW seeker in game and in fact the typhoon is limited to a version of Brimstone it never used. It would be like denying KH-38ML for the Su-34 and giving it Vikhrs instead

I wouldnt bother looking at all of his responses Im not even gonna check his stats but I assume russian main who doesnt like the idea of its most op (probably fake) weapon being removed, so is trying his best to make it like MMV isnt good and would never fit into the game

Brimstone with MMW seeker should only be added as long as it is only LOBL and can be disrupted by smoke grenades

Which is fine, though I’ve been killed through smoke enough times by the IOG on KH-38 that I don’t really see the difference to be honest

My main interest in FNF for Brimstone is for ASB

why does that even matter? 9 out of 10 times people dont even know a AGM has been launched at them hell most of the time smoke doesnt stop things that have IOG and a HE warhead since it will land near and just explode
