As for the MAKS 2017 one, I’m not sure if I should change it tbh. The original news article claims it to be a SALH seeker and calls it an MLE, the apparent manufacturer of the mockup called it an MTE but still said it was a SALH head. The official manufacturer of the missile also does not use the MAKS 2017 mockup in the brochure for the MTE, it still used the MAKS 2009 one in 2021.
Edit: There, I added some additional info on point 2 mentionning the information regarding the MAKS 2017 mockup is conflicting and changed the wording regarding the “evidence of the missile not existing” to “evidence the missile has never left the conceptual/mockup stage”.

Considering the current world events it’s obvious that many people feel that way and can’t help themselves even when in game.
Balance is a subjective term while something being fake isn’t.
So, if you’re so against fake vehicles I suggest you start making some topics as there are many fakery still out there, I’m sure people would follow your lead.
Still not even a picture of it existence like none of it not on aircraft hell don’t even know they can use on current aircraft in the game.

Those vehicles are less controversial because they aren’t all the cause of a massive imbalance.
Even assuming that was true, which it isn’t, but let’s pass on that one for now, this poll tends to show the missile is considered unbalanced by a majority of people

This is how much traction other fake vehicles get in this forum. I guess something being fake isn’t that big of a deal.
EDIT: Seems like 42% of voters actually wanted to keep the fake vehicle in the game, which tells me how really infamous those things are.

As I said, balance is a subjective term while something being fake is an objective one.
So if you’re really that interested in purging the game of fake things go make your voice heard, I’ll surely support your case and I’d bet those 1000+ voters will as well.
Not a single poll that’s done outside of the game itself is valid nor it represents the majority of players.

Balancing can be quantified. The missile having 3x the delta v of any other in its category is a raw data that can be easily understood by everyone, it’s not a question of subjectivity. Same thing with the warhead, the lock distance (all superior or at least equal to its counterparts), the fact that it has IOG while some others don’t.
And before you mention the flight model, keep in mind it does not matter to a tank or to a SPAA that can’t even reach the KH38’s slinger. It would also be wise to keep in mind that it possesses one of the best AAM in the game as well (R-77-1), and in large quantities
1400 voters is already quite a nice sample.

Yeah i think i won’t bother for too much longer at this point. Just wanted to point out that the reasoning behind keeping the KH38 MT is quite poor.
@MotorolaCRO i consider KH38 to be the most problematic AGM at top tier while i’m quite a heavy AASM IR user myself. If KH38 is removed, and as pointed out in the original post, i wouldn’t be opposed to AASM IR’s removal or nerf for the time being, even if it’s a missile i can sometime enjoy using.
Your personal opinion about vehicle’s balance shouldn’t really stop you from calling for immediate deletion of said, fake vehicle. Of course, if you’re really that worried about fake things being in the game.
