however gaijin’s requirements say that proof is needed. you can look at what smin has written earlier.

We had and still have fake stuff in the game that are purposely being added by Gaijin for their reasons.
yes many as non tech tree or added on tech tree due to being required for other essential reasons however, there is no need for an op missile that does not exist.
regardless, the missile should be removed as having any western counterparts added with no proof would be impossible.
gaijin has already been removing fake vehicles and will probably move further with it

Like you are basically right. Mainly for balance reasons. But question is if Kh-38MT is needed for balance? I dont think so.

The KH38 MT is a man made object, not a black hole which took 50+ years to prove the existence of between it’s theoritical appearence and the proof of its physical existence, same goes for hidden species, which are by definition hidden before they are discovered…
That’s where the comparison falls appart.

We don’t really know what Gaijin deems necessary and essential. It might be there to balance out other woes of vehicles that carry such missiles.
Yes, they are removing fake vehicles only when they get to adding real ones in their place.
yes and op weapons are not neccessary, there is no problem for removal even if you try to make up one.
then they can make a statement as to why they have a weapon ingame that does not have evidence supporting it’s existence that fits gaijin requirements

Except the missile already exists and we know they have the knwoledge to install IR seekers into missiles.
So it’s more than possible it exists, even though us average joes can’t find it with a simple google search.
And no i don’t know where Gajin has there sources of it existing or not has from.

You can’t balance a missile on it’s own, as only vehicles carry BR number and thus can be balanced. It definitely boosts the performance and balance anemic things like SM3 or SU-34, but adding those missiles to 30SM wasn’t needed at all.
“they have the knowledge” does not mean that they actually have done it. it is just an assumption, not proof. like i said, it does not fit gaijin’s posted requirements.
the whole thread is full of assumptions because no one is able to provide actual proof.

No, but it’s not far fetched to think they have, it’s not a wonder weapon.

Military tech can share that as well as military uses classified documents in order to prevent such things from being unhidden.
38MT is basically a copy of 38ML which is being used in real life, so you definitely have much more to go off of than you have when claiming alien ships in Area 51 are real.

but if they did the “average joe” google search, then they are in no ability to prove the missile exists either, and they’ll have to admit they added the missile on assumptions, it wouldn’t be the first time (manpads thread, anyone ?)
As for the IIR seeker integration, it’s a bit more complicated than just sticking a new seeker. “It’s possible the missiles exists” is not enough, because as i said earlier, anyone could claim anything with this logic
