This missile exists. If this missile didn’t exist, you wouldn’t even see it. And if this missile was offered for export, then it was tested before that.

Gathering funds for development nothing more
Mock ups literaly exist to show of stuff that doesnt exist yet
I havent seen anything saying it can hit a moving target yet. Tank-sized target yes, target that is not where the original pre-loaded GPS coordinates indicate it should be yes, “mobile” target yes, but nothing stating a tsrget in motion. The point was argued on the Rafale thread before the entire convo was removed for being off-topic. DirectSupport stated he has a source which states it “can hit targets moving below 70kph”, but then got all angry and defensive when I asked him to provide it, and hasnt posted since.
As for “what to do with AASM-IR”, it depends on whats considered “fixed”. If it loses the ability to hit moving targets, it should be fine. If not, it’ll be the clear best AGM in-game, and the new biggest problem (2x2km search area with target ID would be borderline impossible to handle in-game, you’d have to rely 100% on shooting down every missile before impact).
Like you mentionned tho, this is off-topic, so if yoy wanna continue it, we can do it in the appropriate thread or PM’s.
Yes. But this seeker for this missile exists, since it was offered for export.
You wouldn’t even have known about the existence of the name Kh-38MT if it hadn’t been shown, but they showed it, they even showed its seeker on a mock-up
a seeker on a mockup isn’t enough proof for a missile to be added in the game based on gaijin’s standards
That isn’t how it works though. Many mock-ups exist and are offered for exports (alongside having brochures with them). Tons of weapons make their way to MBDA expo and advertised for export clients, doesn’t mean anything on the missiles are functional at all. Otherwise we could have hundreds of weapons added just based off of what is shown off during annual expos.
I don’t understand the gaijin standards. They add a non-existent vehicle from brochures/tenders.
Does the missile of whatever that is exist though like the KH38 ?
Nup, can be for gathering funds.
Offering the possibility.
Even then the seeker alone doesnt mean it was integrated
I know of the fcaam its a mock up of an in development project, doesnt exist yet just like the kh 38mt
read smin’s replies, they’re somewhere above in the post. for a missile to be added to an aircraft they need proof of it being actually usable on that variant of aircraft and a seeker on a random mockup wouldn’t be enough
Doesnt matter, the seeker from MT doesnr exist. U cant prove its functional and integrated.
Its as functional as fcaam right now
It’s genius. Why did they add the Kh-38MT then if they thought there was not enough evidence?
they don’t have the rules we have to follow for something to be added in the game. they can add something without evidence.
They didnt research themself easy as that
Either gaijin devs made a potentially mistaken assumption of its existence solely based on a brochure and a mockup, or they have evidence it exists.
Thats kind of the whole reason why I’ve asked for them to provide evidence it does in fact exist and belongs in-game.
It doess matter, the missile does exist and was used.
It’s not they saw a drawing in a comic book and thought that missile looks cool, let’s add it.
And since they use IR seekers for other missiles, it’s more than plausible that they have a variant of this one too.
It’s not the same as what you are trying to do with your post.
do you have real evidence or just theories with no evidence to back them up with?
Its funny you say that cuz atm that seems to be just about exactly what happened (drawings in a brochure, not a comic book, but close enough)
